Drugstore Makeup Brands
I haven’t stepped into CVS recently but the new Nuance Cosmetics Collection by Salma Hayek is available right now. I’ve noticed a few various folks tweeting and posting the Nuance displays at their local CVS stores.
From what I understand, so far, the collection is actually quite good but I can’t speak from experience as I haven’t actually tried any of it yet. I will say some of the packaging looks rather brilliant.
Salma went full on with this collection and it includes not only color cosmetics but skincare, haircare, and bodycare as well. Someone had mentioned in a prior comment that she’s as big a beauty junkie as we are. I didn’t know that about her so as a junkie I’m assuming her products are going to rock it hard as if anything us beauty junkies are picky about our products.
Here’s the full release info. Do take a look and let me know if you tried any of it or of any of it sounds interesting to you!
Looking forward to your thoughts!
Ahh skin tone adapting blush, lipgloss, foundation, concealer….I want skin tone adapting eyeshadow!
Seriously, though in most cases skin tone adapting anything doesn’t exactly work. The idea is innovative, the concept is way cool for beauty lovers who just want something that will fit them perfectly, and let’s face it our simple side is thinking how cool it would be to buy something that just works the first time, no color matching required, it’ll adapt!
Rimmel Match Perfect Skin Tone Adapting Concealer is the latest crazy to get my attention in the tone adapting world.
Let’s take a look!
I’ve come to the conclusion that like lip balms and glosses, hand creams and lotions are just as guilty of littering my desk, bedside table, and desk drawers.
I’m currently obsessed with EOS Everyday Hand Lotion!
You need it!
I’m not a huge believer in the joys of lip plumping lipgloss but I really love that sting!
NYX Pump It Up Lip Plumper takes things to a budget friendly level with their new plumping gloss.

geoGirl is a new line of cosmetics launching at Walmart (it’s already available at some Walmart locations) for Fall 2011. This collection will actually be replacing the old Mary Kate and Ashley Cosmetic Collection and features natural ingredients and is free from parabens. The line is meant for 8 to 12 year old girls (tweens) but there are a few pieces that might capture the eye of older makeup junkies.
I personally loved the Kewl Magic Face Refresher and I’m no where near that age group ha!
Let’s take look at the geoGirl GR8 Lip Shine.
