Here’s an interesting little find, E.L.F. Studio High Defination Undereye Setting Powder.
This light-diffusing powder camouflages fine lines, dark circles and imperfections.
The $3 price tag.
Considering E.L.F.’s track record with their Studio Collection I’m going to say this is probably a good buy but expect to see asinine e-mails like this in your inbox.
I was absolutely thrilled when I originally purchased Milani’s Runway Eyes Eyeshadow a few years ago. It was my first really big budget purchase back in the day. Up until that time I really avoided drugstore brands but after that purchase I was pretty adventurous and made more and more trips to CVS.
Thanks Milani, you converted me and gave me hope that drugstore makeup isn’t all rubbish!
I’m quite happy that Runway Eyes Eyeshadow isn’t forgotten. Released quite a few years ago, this shadow hasn’t really seen update in quite a while but for Spring 2012 Milani has added three new shades to the collection.
Take a peek!
Prestige doesn’t update often with newly released products so I kinda jumped on top of their Primed & Ready Eye Primer when I saw it at my local drugstore.
Thing is, I’m shopping for a new eye primer at the moment. Urban Primer Potion just doesn’t cut it for me. The formula seems to have changed and it doesn’t seem to hold my shadow as long as it once did. Crazy I know, but I really stick by the fact that the formula seems to be pretty different.
Let’s take a look, maybe Prestige Primed & Ready Eye Primer will be on the case.
So sorry for the lack of communication lately. I have a lot of comments to get through and feels like ages since we last talked. How are you doing? I’ve been swamped. Life, both personal and professional, has been getting in the way of Musings. I hope to be back on track next week when things slow down a bit for me.
I’ll be rolling out the new look for Musings shortly too. Apologies to IE users who have had issues with my site and seeing new posts. A refresh typically takes you to new posts or try clearing your cache (this is a temporary fix until I figure out what is going on here).
What else is going on with you?
See any good movies lately? Read any good books?
Am I imagining things or have you noticed a decline in the Walking Dead’s zombie makeup? Did the budget cut hit…!? Also please, can it be off the farm time now? I’m so bored of the farm. Old McDonald had a farm and wished it was over run by zombies not humans having too many emotional moments and playing house during a plague! P.S. What’s all this about not seeing bites and scratches on zombies? Is it be airborne time now? Wink! Do gimme the good word on your Walking Dead theories, with only a few episodes left I’m waiting for the big BANG to hit.
Anyone try out the new NYX Mood Glosses?
I likey…these are kinda a cool little budget gloss available in four different formulas.
Take a look at the Sensual version, perfect gothy shade to wear for stabbing (not shooting, we need to reserve bullets) zombies in the head.
Milani has introduced three new shades of their Marbelized Baked Eyeshadow to their line up for Spring 2012. These shades will remain added to the catalog so they aren’t limited edition and you have plenty of time to purchase them.
Both the price point and the quality make them a tempting pick for Spring plus one shade stands out as a true keeper.
Take a look!
