NYX Book of Eye Shadows First Look

Cover Girl Nature Luxe Collection Spring 2011

Covergirl Nature Luxe 1

Here’s the first look at the Cover Girl Nature Luxe launching for Spring 2011. As you know from my prior post Taylor Swift’s premiere as the Covergirl Spokesperson will be with the new Nature Luxe Collection. This is supposed to be a more high end version of Covergirl’s offerings and is supposed to appeal to high-end shoppers that happen to be browsing their makeup, drugstore aisles, hey, that’s me!

The line only includes, that I know of so far, Covergirl Liquid Silk Foundation and their new Gloss Balm. The Nature Luxe Collection contains natural ingredients so this should appeal to the green friendly makeup users among us.

I have to admit that when it comes to organic and greener makeup options at the drugstore, in most cases, I’ve been very disappointed so I’m curious how Covergirl’s new collection will hold up.

What do you think?

NYX Box of Eye Shadows

NYX Box of Eye Shadows 1

I’ve been on a mad palette frenzy lately and I’m trying to refrain from thinking about how I don’t need several palettes that all contain the same colors. If I suppress this feeling I can continue on my merry way sans guilt you see.

My latest lem?

The NYX Box of Eye Shadows.

If it’s anything like the regular line of shadows and some of the smaller shades, well, it’ll be a must have.

Check it!

Physicians Formula Glam Collection Shimmer Strips Gel Eyeliner Review, Swatches, Photos

Physicians Formula Glam Collection Shimmer Strips Gel Eyeliner 1

Physicians Formula has a new Glam Collection Shimmer Strips Gel Eyeliner available for the Holidays. The collection features three new strips of Shimmer Eyeliner and three new mascaras. They break these up into eye color groups as in “select this color to flatter blue eyes”, “select this color to flatter brown eyes” and so on and so forth. I’m personally not keen on anyone telling me what flatters my eyes most as I’m of the mentality that anyone can wear any shade of color they choose. Granted some shades simply don’t work for me but most are a-ok and I don’t limit what I wear because I have brown eyes…..Just because I have brown eyes doesn’t mean I have to stick to wearing golds, browns, and black because Physicians Formula told me so.

Get my rant?

Aside from that the idea behind the product is interesting since it gives you not one, not two, but three gel eyeliners in stackable jars.

Good stuff?

Let’s see.
