Almay Smart Shade Perfect Correct Primer Clear

Almay pretty much loves introducing Smart Shade products, ya know, those products that promise to morph and turn into your perfect shade of blush, foundation, etc…

I don’t have alot of details about their new Almay Smart Shade Perfect Correct Primer Clear but it appears to be a clear primer with color pigments for correcting and brightening skin, don’t quote me but that’s what I gather from this one.

It does look like Stila’s One Step Primer but mostly it reminds me of the T-Virus.

It’s available now at Ulta.com for $13.99.

I think I might go ahead and indulge.

Maybelline Color Tattoo 24HR Eyeshadow Collection

Makeup wonders never cease to amaze me. I remember a time…now I’m going to start sounding like my father reminiscing about how he had to walk to school, in the snow, with no shoes on, and the school happened to be a hike from his home town of Arcos (p.s. if you clinked that link, my cousins and I used to swim in that lake as a child! True story!) all the way to Lisboa, but I remember a time when drugstore makeup was something I turned my nose up to. It simply wasn’t something I wished to indulge in here in the US. Granted, outside the US I was more than happy to toss my hard earned money at drugstore fare from Asia, the UK, and Europe but not from brands here in the US because it simply wasn’t a formula I was interested in.

Let’s face it, some drugstore makeup does suck. Agreed?

But times they are a changing and many brands are stepping up their game in a MAJOR way. Take the new Maybelline Color Tattoo 24HR Eyeshadow.

Now this I’ll gladly toss money at!

Maybelline Dreamy Bouncy Blush Collection

Maybelline seems to have some updates on the horizon for Spring 2012 when it comes to their Dream Mousse Collection. Many of the products are available on clearance at the moment in various drugstores (particularly CVS) I’ve been to lately. No worries though the collection isn’t disappearing for good merely being replaced by brand new offerings.

From what I heard the glass jars that the Dream Mousse products came in failed to keep the product fresh, this is unconfirmed of course, but it could be one of the reasons we are seeing newly packaged products. This, and of course, Spring 2012 is on the horizon a good enough time to start launching brand new products.

One of the more interesting products I’ve had my eye on was the new Maybelline Dreamy Bouncy Blush.

Revlon Photo Ready Air Brush Mousse Makeup Review, Swatches, Photos

Being a not so hot fan of Revlon Photo Ready Foundation I wasn’t exactly prepared to try their new Photo Ready Airbrush Foundation.

But curiosity led me to a three can purchase, yeah, couldn’t decide what shade I was had to haul three of these.
