Hard Candy Photos

hard candy walmart 1111

Hey guys!

I got a press kit a few days ago for the entire Hard Candy Collection available now at Walmart.   I haven’t been over to Walmart as of yet to take a peep…you know the Muse you have to drag her to that place kicking and screaming. Anyway like I said haven’t had a look at the items yet but whoa…after seeing the photos I was kicked over. It’s a HUGE selection of stuff. I think the line is actually bigger now that it’s at Walmart than it was when Hard Candy was a brand all it’s own.

From the looks of it they have over 25 items in a huge array of colors. They even have baked shadows and blushes now! The prices are $6 to $8 bucks each…so cheap. I’m very eager to try out some of it. I got a few items to test out but I want to head to the evil empire and snag some more as truly some bits look incredibly good. I felt like the line was actually more appealing now than it was prior to the merger.

Some folk may feel it’s a bit teen-ish but I thought they did a great job revamping it.

Anyway. ‘Nuff babble from me. Check out some pictures after the jump!

Beauty on a Budget: EOS Lip Balm Review

Let me bring you back a little bit, Fall 2007 to be exact.  Lancome releases the Mystery Game and the Muse proceeds to flip out and find a new love of her life, the Lancome Baume Baiser.  Since that time I’ve been through three of these thanks to the Lancome Outlet in Atlantic City having them handy…..currently I’m on my last one and probably won’t get another unless I really look hard as the shop no longer has them.

Flash forward to present day and find the Muse slicking her lips with inexpensive, tasty EOS Lip Balm.   Hello dupe-tastic!   These smooth spheres are tasty, cheap as day old chips, and mimic that of my beloved Lancome Baume Baiser.

Thank Jebus for answering my prays.

All hail and rejoice ultra cool lip balm that’s inexpensive and readily available without the dreaded LE (Limited Edition) curse attached to it…oh and organic and good for you too.

King of Shaves Azor Event: Free King of Shaves Azor Razor

King of Shaves Azor Razor 1

Hey Guys!

King of Shaves is having an event today offering sidewalk shaves (for the guys among us no they will not shave your legs ladies!) and giving away free King of Shaves Azor razors.

It takes place today from 10am to 6pm on 23rd Street and Broadway. You can stop by for a visit with Diane Wood, Master Barber of King of Shaves, who will on hand to give the guys a clean shave. Diane is the barber who appeared on Letterman to remove his writer’s strike beard.

If you have an old blunt razor bring it along with you and Diane will happily give you a brand new Azor, other fun freebies will be available too!

In honor of their contributions to the city, King of Shaves will donate $5,000 to New York City Firemen through the Friends of Firefighters Organization.

The Azor is the latest razor launch from King of Shaves and is making it’s debut in New York City Duane Reade stores this month. The Azor has a unique design that allows the head to bend and flex around contours and curves of the face or in our case it’s ideal for behind our knees and around ankles for a friendlier, smoother shave. The ergonomic handle of the razor is made of only one part (compared to 13 on other brands) leaving zero waste behind providing for greener alternative to your shaving experience.

The Azor is available for purchase online but why not stop by and get one free hehe.

L’Oreal True Match Foundation Finder

LOreal True Match Foundation 11

Oh my god dudes.

I’m kinda all sorts of excited today because I found the L’Oreal True Match Foundation Match on their site. Ok, ok I didn’t really “discovery” it myself, I read about in a magazine.

You know the Muse isn’t too keen on drugstore foundation but I’ve kinda sorta had my eye on L’Oreal True Match Foundation for a while.

Anyway, here’s the deets.
