Wet n’ Wild

Wet n Wild Fantasy Makers Collection 2011 is launching at drugstores. I came across displays at my local Harmons. The collection features the typical round of sparkle cream shadows, nail varnishes, and sets which include nail polish, shadow, and false lashes.

Wet n Wild hasn’t always been a brand on my hit list. Let’s face it, the packaging screams cheaper, the price makes us wonder how anything that costs less than $3 could be an effective cosmetic product, and our inner snobs demand we stay far away from it.
But you can call me wrong and make me eat my words about Wet n Wild because the brand does, indeed, have some hidden gems amongst all those $1.99 price tags.
Recently, they introduced a selection of six ColorIcon Trio Palettes for Summer. The Wet n Wild Dreamweavers Collection contains all of these trios for a limited time with a price tag of merely $2.69 each (prices will vary depending where you shop it). Some of these palettes are quite exciting since the shade selection is much like the Holiday ColorIcon Six Shadow Palettes.
Let’s take a look at some of the Wet n Wild Dreamweaver ColorIcon Trio Palettes.

The new Wet n Wild DreamWeaver Collection brings out six new ColorIcon Trio Eyeshadows for $2.99 each.
These are popping up for a limited time in drugstores however I personally don’t think you have to rush to grab them as they have alot of similar shades in them from ColorIcon’s past…and some even remind me of shades from both the Fall and Holiday 2010 release. So if you own alot of WnW already just check your stash for possible dupes before dishing out any cash.
Here’s a few swatches, I’ll follow up with a review soon!

I gotta say I really like the six pan Wet n Wild ColorIcon Palettes considerably more than the trios. Dare I whisper that the trios are a tad TOO shimmery…
Gasp!
Blasphemy! Did I just say too much shimmer?
True that. They really are intense but at this price no one is complaining around here. Want cheap Summer bronzed lids? Snatch up the new limited edition Wet n Wild ColorIcon in the The Gilded Age for under $3 bucks and have extra change in your wallet this Summer.
Checks it!

Wet n Wild Go for the Gold is one of the first Summer 2011 Collections released from the brand. I’m pretty sure we’ll see a few more little collection releases from them as we head deeper into Summer.
This collection is super small and contains one Color Icon Eyeshadow Trio and a Color Icon Bronzer. I’ll be reviewing the Wet n Wild Color Icon Bronzer in Everything Under the Sun for you today.
I’m not much of a bronzer girl as you know but the budget price tag and the need to bring you the latest and greatest in newly released beauty pushed me over into the realms of purchasing this one.
