Eyeko

Did you know the Muse likes a bit of sparkle, shimmer, and shine? Obviously right?
Put a tiny bit of sparkle into your looks with Eyeko Sparkle Powder! An ickle pink cardboard box holds a deliciously candy scented powder puff that’s loaded up with iridescent sparkling powder that can be used on face, cheeks, and if you so please puff some onto eyes!
I’ve been meaning to review this since I got my order late Summer sheesh can you see how behind I am with reviews? Bad Muse! But something good does come out of it considering that the holiday is upcoming and I think many of us like a bit of sparkle for this time of the year so here in is an ideal little solution.
The sparkle is in the puff so it’s pretty much mess free! Simply dab the puff onto the places where you’d like a bit of shimmer and you’re good to go! The scent is a vanilla cotton candy blend that’s quite pleasant and girlish!
I think for the most part the appeal is in the packaging in this case as the puff and little box is too adorable! I do think that the price tag is a bit expensive considering it’s price tag of £5. But hey I love shimmery bits and bobs so I’m happy to have this in my stash!

Eyeko’s new Touch Up & Glow Highlighter is now a permanent fixture in the Muse’s makeup bag!
This cute highlighter comes in a tidy and neat click pen applicator for easy application that’s mess free and great for toting around for quickie touch ups on the go! The highlighter is a flattering pink shimmering shade that should suit most all skin tones.
You can use the highlighter in several ways one of which happens to be as a brow bone highlighter. I admit that when I prep my eye I do sometimes forget to concentrate on the brow bone this makes it simple! Swipe a little smidge on your brow bone, blend, and you’re left with a beautiful luminescent shimmer.
You can also use this on cheeks bones, as a light eyeshadow application for a quick eye look, as a liner for your bottom lash line for a bit of sparkle, the possibilities are endless!
I personal like toting around with me for swiping across my cheeks bones to add a bit of lighter and sparkle to my face when my makeup is wearing off, it does a fine job of freshening up my complextion!
Did I mention the price can’t be beat at £5? I’m sticking a Muse Approval on this for purchase. Simplicity rules my makeup world and this makes for a wonderful little addition to my makeup bag for quick touch ups on the god!
You can get yours from the Eyeko UK website (Yes, they ship to the US).

Eyeko Face Off Wipes Review

Wow I’ve covered ALOT of concealers these past month haven’t on? And guess what? I’m still going strong and bringing you a brand new batch of concealer reviews this week!
If you missed my introduction please see my Good, Bad, and Great Concealer post to see what’s been reviewed so far!
Today I’ll be reviewing Eyeko’s Touch Up and Go Concealer which promises to wake up my eyes and put my blemishes to bed. I don’t use concealer to conceal blemishes so I guess under the eyes it will be!
Does it deliver on it’s promise?
Not quite.
Although the packaging is super cute, and the price is just right, plus the fact it comes in a click pen makes the Muse happy doesn’t mean that it’s an awesome concealer. The bad begins when the product is only available in one shade…uh oh…not good. The worst begins when you figure out what an unflattering nude, beige, slightly peachy combination it is.
Although it’s pigmented enough to conceal dark circles brilliantly well I felt like the color did nothing for my eyes. The color matches my skin perfectly however speaking for myself and I’m sure many others prefer concealer a shade or two lighter than your foundation. In this case the concealer matches the tone of my skin and does nothing for brightening or waking up my eye area. Although it does conceal my dark circles it fails to create a fresh, awake look and I blame that on the color. The formula is moisturizing and dense while blending very well however the wear is two hours if you’re lucky. It contains a blend of Jojoba for moisture and a soft touch.
Sometimes the Muse gets suckered in by cute packaging and can convince herself the product is really good because she’s so in love with the uber sweet packaging however in this case it’s just bad.
As I said it is inexpensive at £5 and it’s probably good if you don’t mind the color or the lack of wear but personally I didn’t like it.
Thumbs down on this one.
It’s a trash and not a stash!

Sometimes the Muse is lazy.
On the lazy days when it’s just too much effort to go through the process and hassle of removing makeup using a ton of different products I like to reach for a quick wipe to just remove it all in one shot.
Biore makes some rather great wipes to remove all your make up in one go and of course MAC does a version that’s absolutely awesome!
But I’m guilty of adoring the kawaii in products and neither MAC nor Biore has the cute factor going on!
Agreed?
Soooooooooo I found a cute face wipe to remove all my makeup (even waterproof mascara!) in one go!
Meet Eyeko Face Off Wipes:
At £5.00 for 20 wipes I’m saying you’ll be sporting both a cute way to get it all off simply and quickly! Likey!
Sorry but sometimes the cute factor wins!
At £5.00 for 20 this isn’t the cheapest option you have available but I do find it’s a rather cute way to sport your face wipe around! Traveling with these is ultra nice as they are each individually wrapped which can’t be said for most removers which come in a larger container.
Each wipe is pre-soaked with a cleaning solution that contains Vitamin E and other good for you ingredients. The wipes are extra large so one should do your entire face plus they work extra well at removing waterproof mascara in a hurry however some rubbing is required which is why these are good for quick removal and not recommended for daily use (who wants to be rubbing their eye area daily to remove makeup right?).
Ewwwwww! After use!
For travel, quick and simple makeup removal, or just lazy days Eyeko Face Off Wipes get a Muse Approval for purchase. Cute, simple, quick, easy, and awesome for travel make these a must have for the Muse!

Eyeko is my favorite little brand in all of England (and that’s sayin’ something considering what a Lushie I am!).
It appears Eyeko has a few new items up on it’s site that I did spy with my little eye! One product in particular that caught my eye was my very favorite cream in new clothes!
Eyeko’s popular cream has been revamped and repackaged and is looking quite glam! The Muse is excited as she’s running low so a new package definately appeals!
I guess Eyeko went all out for Spring/Summer because I see quite a few new items available on the website!
How about some Eyeko Eye Beauty Eyeshadows?
£5.00 gets you a fun tin of eyeshadows to make yourself pretty! These appear similar to Pop’s Eye Cake but they have my heart for the cute design on the package! Three options to choose from too! The Muse has her eye on the Pretty Eye Palette!
If it’s sparkle and shimmer you seek I imagine Eyeko has you covered with it’s new Sparkle Powder! £5.00 gets you a cute box full of candy scented shimmer to dust where you please!
You might need something to remove all the makeup on your face at the end of the day so Eyeko has new Face Off Wipes! Grab a box of 20 for £5.00 and wipe all that makeup off your face with a pre-soaked towelette that contains only good things for your skin like Vitamin E! They claim to remove water proof mascara too! I’m on it!
I’m always looking for my holy grail concealer might Eyeko’s new Touch Up and Go Concealer be it? At £5.00 I can afford to say yes to a test drive!
Considering our good friend Kylie Minogue is such a great fan of Eyeko Cream she should be happy about the release of Eyeko’s Touch Up and Glow Highlighter! Click your way to beautiful for £5.00!
All of Eyeko’s new items are in my cart for purchase! I’ll definately bring you a review shortly!
