High-End Makeup Brands
Considering the Holidays are full in our face at the moment in the makeup and beauty world I, of course, have a wish list a mile long! There are so many new beauty and makeup items I’m obsessed with right now! Palettes, gift sets, heck even new fragrances.
I kinda hate it that there are so many new items that are Holiday themed though as Fall is my favorite season and I hate to rush it away! But none the less this is the time of the year that beauty and makeup are really hot so you’re bound to have some obsession or another.
Here’s a list of my latest obsessions!
It’s a rarity to run into beauty lovers that don’t love the Chloe fragrance (I’m actually a huge lover of Love, Chloe myself!) so when I saw this cute Chloe Carousel Holiday 2015 Gift Set I knew I had to share it with you.
Chloe is one of those rose fragrances that’s universally flattering on many different body chemistries. It’s soft, feminine, and flirty but never too bold or overwhelming and it has just the right amount of linger.
I thought this set was darling as it quite reminded me of last year’s Too Faced La Belle Carousel Set that launched with the Too Faced Holiday 2014 Collection. The set comes housed in a white and gold giftable box which lifts up to reveal a vanity worthy carousel that you can place the Eau de Parfume Spray (2.5 oz), Body Lotion (3.4 oz) Minature EDP (0.17) atop! Plus it spins as well so you can easily access your fragrance treasures.
I thought it would make some Chloe lover a lovely little gift!
The Chloe Carousel Holiday 2015 Gift Set is available now at Nordstrom.com.
Serum foundations had their day in the sun but at the moment what’s really popular is serum concealers! I recently decided that I wanted to check out Bobbi Brown Intensive Skin Serum Concealer because you dry eyes, serum, seems a good cocktail yes?
I’m really enjoying Bare Minerals Bare Skin Complete Coverage Serum Concealer so the next logical step for me was to try out Bobbi Brown Intensive Skin Serum Concealer because I’m a Bobbi fan girl so it made sense to me. Well, that and I’m also a concealer junkie as well!
I decided I wanted a new Fall lipstick shade so I purchased Lancome L’Absolu Rouge Advanced Hydrating Lipstick in Sienna Ultime. So yeah, I totally have a ton of Fall lipstick colors already but when the season rolls around I just feel like I need every single shade of nude, orange, burnt orange, copper, and brown based lipstick in the entire makeup universe.
I recently went to Nordstom to get the new La Vie est Belle Eau de Parfum Intense but sadly they didn’t have it but of course, I couldn’t leave without looking at the lipsticks and that’s when Sienna Ultime decided it needed to come home with me.
The Lancome Auda[City] in Paris Eyeshadow Palette ($68) is a new 16 pan eyeshadow palette that released with the Lancome Fall 2015 Collection. This is very, very interesting palette for Lancome in my opinion as it holds such a wide variety of shades in one place. In all my years as a makeup lover and collector I can’t say I remember Lancome offering such a large palette like this.
I also think the Lancome Auda[City] in Paris Eyeshadow Palette is a testimony to Lancome’s evolution. Lancome has always been a name known and trusted by many makeup lovers but I also think it’s a brand that we commonly associate with a range of more mature makeup. In recent years, Lancome has reinvented itself and become more of a brand that is appealing to both older and younger demographics with many exciting, new, and innovative launches.
This year you’ll like notice that East Meets West in a lot of launches from Lancome and other brands. There’s a Korean beauty flair to many products launching across the board and as a lover of Korean and Japanese makeup products for many, many years I’m excited to see how Asian beauty is influencing some of my favorite brands like Lancome for example.
But I digress, because what the Lancome Auda[City] in Paris Eyeshadow Palette truly is about the minimal and simple approach to makeup that every Parisian embraces. Simple is sometimes incredible especially when you have sixteen shades of nude, natural, and neutral shades to create your flawless, natural eye look with.
Let’s take a look at the Lancome Auda[City] in Paris Eyeshadow Palette and get that look!
