Gabourey Sidibe and Bobbi Brown Sitting in a Tree, Not Kissing, But Creating a Makeup Collection?
Actress Gabourey Sidibe is rumored to have a cosmetic collection in the works simply because she showed up at a party…what? how? who?! I want in on that party so me and Bobbi can meet, become best friends forever and ever, and have her do a Muse inspired makeup collection. I dream about it every night.
Supposedly the actress was at the Bobbi Brown offices the day of the party, discussing the possibility of doing a color cosmetic collection. Bobbi Brown did Gabby’s make up for the Golden Globes as well recently.
Some reports are saying that they wouldn’t be surprised over the collaboration because of Bobbi’s preference for real-looking women and girls for her models but honestly I don’t think I’ve ever seen Bobbi Brown do a collaboration with anyone. Mind you I’m only a fan for a few years but I haven’t seen Bobbi hooking up with celebs in my years.
If this does happen, the good news, would be that Bobbi is definitely capturing a new audience as Gabby has a deeper skin tone which isn’t quite covered in the current Bobbi Brown range of shades.
What do you think of a Gabby/Bobbi collab?
Would you buy it?
If not Gabby which fresh faced celeb would you choose to grace the covers of the next Bobbi Brown Collection?
Share it!
Note: This is pure speculation, a Gabourey Sidibe and Bobbi Brown Makeup Collection is not confirmed by Bobbi Brown Cosmetics.

I can’t believe Summer is almost over. In some ways it lasted for ages and in others it feels like it flew by. Did you enjoy your Summer so far? Do anything special?
As Summer draws to a close, I’ll be reviewing the last of the Summer items I have stashed away and start to concentrate more on Fall and Holiday 2010. It’s quite an exciting time as I simply adore Holiday Collections!
Until we get deeper into Fall and Holiday we might as well enjoy the last days of Summer the best we can right? Here are some great posts from Summer 2010 that you may have missed!

MAC’s Marine Life Powder is still sitting untouched in my beauty vault, right next to Stereo Rose. It was Summer’s must have item and a hot commodity at MAC counters who got as little as five compacts in stock! Beauty junkies who scored it, struck gold, literally!

Hard Candy had a really late Spring release, that turned more into a Summer one for me and one thing that happened to be a must have item was the new Hard Candy Moon Glow, loved it!

Wet n Wild ColorIcon Collection was the bestest beauty budget purchase evers!
I loved it so much I decided to convince everyone they NEEDED the DuWop Flight Stick!

I gotta tell ya, I’m a lit geek prior to being a makeup lover so when makeup and a good book are combined, I’m over the moon.
Bobbi Brown Beauty Rules Book should be popping up at your local counters and bookstores shortly. It’s Bobbi’s sixth book release and focuses on, not the mature woman, but younger women.
Bobbi shares her best tips and tricks for fresh, healthy skin, hair, makeup and nails. As always Bobbi’s main goal is the help women look like themselves with minimal makeup tips to create a more confident, prettier you!
Bobbi Brown Beauty Rules was created to help young women learn the beauty basics and proceed to enable them to get creative and experiment with their looks, in the end, ultimately finding their own sense of style.
I have Bobbi’s Makeup Manual and it’s one of the most user friendly makeup reads I’ve had the pleasure of owning. It breaks things down so simply and gives incredible tips for keeping things fresh and beautiful.
I think Beauty Rules is something every younger woman should indulge in particularly if you’re just starting out in makeup.
It’s available now from Nordstrom for $24.95.
I’m going to purchase one for my cousin who’s 15 and just now starting to get into cosmetics.
