Some would argue that Spring 2014 was the season of the blush! There’s been SO many wonderful blush releases this year! Typically I always feel like early Spring (January) we end up seeing a good deal of skincare followed up newer base products like concealer and foundation. I never feel like Spring is heavy on color so it was really nice to see so many new blushes pop up!
There’s been SOME massive hits in blushes lately! I think we can all agree that Clinique really surprised and delighted with their new Cheek Pop Blush!
Here’s my person list of Blush Hits and Misses for Spring 2014 which I hope will help you decide which blushes you need this season and which you can skip!
Wondering what the hit and miss beauty releases in February were?
Now that we’re half way into March we’ll be celebrating Summer 2014 Makeup Collection soon! But February had a few great Spring 2014 launches as I recall.
Anything you can think of that was a super hit for you? Any misses?
I know at least several products that really struck a home run with me. And others that just had me signing in disappointment.
Here are some that I thought were worth a mention.
Take a look at them below!
The new Bobbi Brown Everything About Eyes Book ($14.95) is a book Bobbi created to teach reader’s every they need to know to create standout eyes.
Essential tools, basic techniques, and what works best for your eye shape and color are just some of the topics covered in this new 120 page how to guide. Step by step tutorials include 10 different eye looks from smoky to sparkly and easy steps to recreate them plus Bobbi shows you tips for choosing your perfect frames for your face and makeup tips for those that wear eyeglasses!

This is likely a helpful guide as I have a few Bobbi Brown books and they are all easy reads and teach some great tips. I swear everything I know about good concealer and proper application of it is due to some of the steps and coverage she had in one of books. I could be fangirling out here but Bobbi always makes eye makeup application such a snap!
The Bobbi Brown Crystal Eye Palette ($50) is one of three new eyeshadow quads that launched with the Bobbi Brown Nude Glow Collection earlier this year.
I’ve already reviewed the other two palettes the Bronze Eye Palette being my favorite of the bunch. The Crystal Eye Palette is a bit cooler and quite crisp if you will so if you look best in cooler, sparkling shades you’ll love this one.
