I’ve come across some great finishing powders to love this Holiday season one of which is Chanel’s Natural Loose Powder in Reverie ($52). With great sadness I’ll have to wave goodbye to Reverie once the Holidays are over as this is a limited edition shade that is releasing with the Chanel Holiday 2012 Collection.
I’m considering a back up at this point in my Holiday makeup life.
Chanel Rouge Allure Velvet Lipstick in L’Impatiente ($32) is a limited edition shade release with the Chanel Holiday 2012 Makeup Collection.
It’s actually a terrifying shade for me as it is the ultimate in a vampy lip look but after trying it I must say I really like it.
News of the new Chanel Holiday 2012 Makeup Collection entitled Eclats du Soir de Chanel flew across my desk today. Oh no more lemmings…!
It’s a stunning collection that embraces soft beiges, pinks, and deep red for lips and tips.

Chanel Soleil Tan de Chanel Luminous Bronzing Powder ($60) launched in two shades with the Chanel Summer 2012 Collection. I’m the type of person that avoids bronzers but occasionally like to dip my toes into the bronzing pool.
I have discovered by being a little adventurous that there are bronzers out there that do give just the right glow without dulling my skin out completely.
Is Chanel Soleil Tan de Chanel Luminous Bronzing Powder one of those bronzers?
Chanel Lumiere d’Artifices Beiges Illuminating Powder ($65) is part of the Les Essentials de Chanel Fall 2012 Collection.
Lately the thing I’m loving about some of Chanel’s Illuminating Powder releases is they aren’t so sparkly that you can’t use them as a finishing powder of sorts.
