The Dior Golden Winter Holiday Color Collection is inspired by Versailles at the heart of winter. The collection is based around shades of pink and gold, which have been among the most emblematic codes of the House of Dior since the first couture collection in 1947. Today, the tradition continues with Raf Simons, whose current creations feature gorgeous combinations of pink and gold.
The ultimate refinement of Versailles court art de vivre and the castle’s magnificent adornments deeply influenced Christian Dior’s creations both in aesthetics and structure. Dior was particularly influenced by the golden era of Versailles fashion, which celebrated femininity with its ornate fabrics and structured dresses that enhanced the waist. This holiday, the splendor of Versailles shines on in the Dior makeup collection, which draws inspiration from images of the iconic palace and its gardens covered in snow.

Dior Ensorcelante (981) Addict Gloss ($29.50) is one of two limited edition lipglosses that launched with the Dior Mystic Metallics Fall 2013 Collection. Like Dior Bonne Ave 986 Addict Extreme Lipstick this is a vampy shade of wearable plum!

Dior Bonne Ave 986 Addict Extreme Lipstick ($31) is one of two limited edition shades of lipstick releasing with the Dior Mystic Metallics Collection for Fall 2013.
Dior Addict Extreme Lipstick seems to get better with age as each year it seems like the formula improves. It’s one my favorite lipstick formulas because it’s soft, glossy, and provides truly opaque color.
If you crave vampy plum shades for your Fall looks I know you’re going to adore the look of Dior Bonne Ave 986 Addict Extreme Lipstick.
The new Dior Mystic Magnetics Magnetic Nail Lacquer & Magnet ($26) popped across my desk recently. This is a set that includes Dior Vernis Nail Polish in 802 as well as a magnet to create a magical, mystical nail look for Fall.

Dior CC Primer Radiance Booster Color Correcting Primer ($49) is incredible, what a great facial primer! Ok, the end. I don’t have to say anything else? Ok, I’ll tell you more! Even though Dior’s new Airflash Matte Touch Long Lasting Airy Powder didn’t quite work out for me I had absolutely no issues with the brand new Dior CC Primer Radiance Booster Color Correcting Primer!
You NEED to at least try it.
