The Giorgio Armani Beauty Greige Eye by Linda Cantello
Use the Greige shade to contour the eye by sweeping the shadow along the crease of the eye. Follow by sweeping the shade under the lower lash line and over the upper lash line. Use charcoal to add intensity.
A second option is to sweep the charcoal shadow over the whole lid and use the Greige to blend. For added intensity, apply midnight blue eyeliner along the upper lid lash line.

Have I told you lately how much I hate silicon? Ugh! The primer world is taken over with silicon bases and now suddenly foundations are popping up left and right with a silicon base. No please, no! I truly hate silicon in my face products. It feels terrible on my face and on a rare occasion I’ve been to known to break out because of it.
That’s why I was ever so shocked when I got my hands on Giorgio Armani Face Fabric a few months ago and fell in love!
With it’s base of silicon I was sure I’d hate the feel of Giorgio Armani Face Fabric but turns out I love it, especially now that the weather is warmer!
If you like your foundation extremely light, subtle, sheer, and flawless you should indulge in a tube of this. The foundation is a unique silicone based formula that’s neither oily, sticky, or uncomfortable to wear. I normally feel like I’m wearing a mask when I indulge in silicon based primers or foundations but this gives my skin plenty of breathing room with very light coverage.
The product is ideal for mattifying as I can get good continuous wear out of it for about 7 hours without having to blot or reapply. The finish is dewy and evens out skin tone creating a brilliant canvas for makeup. It is advertised as a “tint” so it can’t be called a foundation however it feels like a cross between a primer, foundation, and a tinted moisturizer all in one to me.
I’d recommend this if you like lighter coverage in the warmer weather. It’s particularly fantastic at holding in for longer periods at a time where as many tinted moisturizers and foundations melt away quickly in warmer weather. It looks so natural and pretty on that it’s perfect for a natural, fresher makeup look. The product contains an SPF of 12 so you’ll want to add a bit of your own sunblock for extra protection.
All in all Giorgio Armani Face Fabric is one of my must have makeup items for the Summer. Muse Approved for purchased for sure!
Who might like it?
- Anyone who wants a lighter foundation product for Summer.
- Those who want a long wearing tint that evens out skin tone and creates a fresh, natural finish.
- Anyone who likes their makeup simple and fresh.

The Muse isn’t known for getting too excited about bronzey collections. The paler her skin stays the better! However, she does so admit to rolling around in fits of excitement when she seen the Giorgio Armani Bronze Mania Collection!
Mania indeed! The Muse can enjoy this type of mania.
A fitting combination of cool ocean blues paired with beautiful tanned skin awaits you with the brand new, limited edition Giorgio Armani Mediterranean Eyeshadow Palette. Four shades of shimmering shadows plus Giorgio Armani most popular bronzer shade make up this incredible Summer palette. Loves it!
Giorgio Armani Sienna Minerals Bronzing Palette already knows it’s gorgeous but the Muse deems it necessary to remind it how pretty it is, “darling, you’re stunning!” (it’s been known to reply…”yes, I know!”) Swirls of sienna red and sandy copper make up an all over blush for a golden bronze glow! The Muse thinks it’s incredible and thinks she might needs it!
Giorgio Armani Bronze Mania Body Tints Bronzer is a weightless, pigment-free formula for a universal natural bronze shade leaves your skin with the kiss of the sun! I can’t get on board with a gel bronzer but sounds like something that could be interesting.
Finish your Summer look with Giorgio Armani Sparkling Bronze Mascara Topcoat. The topcoat leaves lashes with luminous sparkling bronze. Pretties we like sparkle don’t we?
Overall, the collection looks stunning. These are the days the Muse wishes she was a millionaire so she can buy two of everything for now she’s definitely leaning towards the Giorgio Armani Sienna Minerals Bronzing Palette! It looks incredibly pretty. Must haves, like now!
How about you?

20% Off at Armani?
Dudes! Omg! 20% Off Armani Cosmetics? So unheard of! But I’ll take it. But meh don’t get too excited as it’s not a whole bunch of stuff. It’s only limited to a few items but hey still! They have both the sparkling mascaras I want on sale so I’m on board with that. I was kinda wishing and hoping I’d come across that super Holiday palette I was lemming but never caved on but still I’ll take the mascaras no problemo! They also have a few lippies, some shadows, and other bits and bobs.
Hey 20% Off at Armani isn’t anything to ignore!

And don’t you dare steal those mascaras from under my nose before I hit submit!

The Muse is being lured, tempted, and teased by the new Armani Crystal Collection! I honestly admit that I’m seriously considering dropping the dime on these items that are being introduced with the new Armani Holiday Collection for 2008. In a time of economic insanity I really shouldn’t be taking any of this into consideration so I’ll just chalk it up as “research” for my blog! After all I bet you are all dying to see a review, swatches, and photos right? I can’t disappoint my readers right? See how well I am at convincing myself I need to shell out cash for this amazing collection!
The Armani Crystal Palette is of course the star of the show and at $98 USD it likely contains an actual star inside of it! Honestly, the price does make me cringe but I’ve taken into consideration that it does include face and eye items…that makes it worth it right? The limited edition dual compartment palette is lined with Swarovski Crystals and contains four shimmering eyeshadows and one shimmering face and body powder!
The mascara is the second item that got the Muse’s attention! Armani Silver Sparkling Mascara Top Coat offers the option to dose lashes with sparkling silver for the Holiday!
And finally Armani Midnight Lip Shimmer is available in four shades for a sexy, shimmering pout! The shades available are all deep, darker red tones which totally appeal to the Muse for pairing up with a smoked out, sparkling eye look!
The collection is available now from Armani Beauty! The Muse is seriously trying to think of good excuses why she shouldn’t indulge!

Armani Lip Wax Review & Swatches
My excitement about Giorgio Armani Lip Wax in my previous blog entry is warranted as after testing out one for my very self I must say it’s quite a gorgeous little product.
Giorgio Armani Lip Wax is comparable to a MAC Mattene but if you’ve used any of the Mattene’s before you’re probably very familiar with how difficult they are to apply and blend. Giorgio Armani Lip Wax blends flawlessly onto the lips leaving behind seriously pigmented color and gorgeous lips.
The formula is matte however it’s so silky and smooth it feels like you’re applying a powder to your lips. They call the finish a patina satin effect, I call it perfection. The texture is virtually weightless on your lips and it feels as if you’re lips are bare of any color at all but when you look in the mirror there is no doubt that you’re wearing a gorgeous shade of Lip Wax. The formula is very long wearing with little need for touch ups in between.
I tried the shade selection 6 which is a beautifully popping red with a touch of maroon to it. I normally don’t fair to well with reds but lately I’ve indulged my need for red with some rather great shades and I’m very excited to have this color added to my selection of sexy reds.
One of the things I absolutely loved about this product is the fact that color is buildable and versatile. You can go very sheer, very deep, extremely dark, or add a bit of gloss to really get an outstanding look. If you’re scared of bolder shades you can easily tone it down by using a lighter hand but if you crave a wicked, sexy look you can easily take the color up a few notches by building color up.
Each Lip Wax is housed a slick black lacquered compact with mirror. I’ve never indulged in Giorgio Armani Beauty do to the lack of kawaii packaging but I must admit that the design of the compact is quite elegant and posh. Loves it!
The only minor rant I have is that the colors are limited to six shades but honestly that’s actually plenty since the colors will work with pretty much any eye or makeup look you’ll be doing. The selections are both work friendly and of course they’ll spice up any evening look!
Simplicity won out for the look I created below because I wanted my lips to be the star of the show. I did two separate finishes with the Lip Wax, one I’m wearing gloss and the other I am not.
Honestly, if you’re looking to indulge your need for a super pigmented lip product that’s both sexy and elegant this is something to seriously consider adding to your beauty arsenal.

I dunno what Lip Wax is but I think I need it.
Giorgio Armani Beauty is releasing six shades of lip color entitled Lip Wax. The lip color is advertised as a “blush of color for the lips” which of course made me all hyper to get me some. Doesn’t that sound delightful?
From what I read it sounds intriguing. It’s a weightless formula for lips that has a satin finish and as you can see offers a seriously pigmented pout.
Each pot is $26 USD and can be purchased directly from www.giorgioarmanibeauty.com or visit your local Neiman’s, Nordies, or Bloomies to nab yourself some.
Colors available are:
I have my eye on Sienna and Antique Rose. Maybe a review to follow soon!
