A skin colored Meteorites powder? That can’t be right! Have our famous pearls lost their groove? Naaa! They just reinvented themselves for Spring 2011 into a compact powder in various nude shades to correct skin, set makeup, mattify, and just make you look flawless and perfect.
Are they good?

Guerlain debuts its Meteorites Compact Pressed Illuminating and Mattifying Powder this Spring. Yes, a skin colored Meteroites Powder, no the skies are not falling.
Although we discussed the Guerlain Sur Mes Levres Spring 2011 Collection in a prior post here is the official US release information as well as new images.
Guerlain Spring 2010 brought us visions of Cherry Blossoms. The collection was feminine, flirty, and pink! Images of Spring 2011 are popping up on quite a few European websites and this year it doesn’t quite capture the Spring vibe it did last year. Guerlain goes a bit more traditional this year with a resort-y type Spring Collection. It’s not uncommon for brands to do bronze, resort-like shades and collections for Spring as we are still deep in Winter when they release these items and I guess they feel like people are gearing up for warmer weather or a mid-Winter break to some fabulous Island. Whatever the case may be Guerlain captures some of that vibe with Spring 2011.
Let’s have a glance at the images.
Meteorites, one of the makeup world’s greatest joys. Complimentary shades of color that chase away imperfections, refine the face, correct, and illuminate with a sweep of your brush.
This year, Guerlain offers a selection of it’s famous Meteorites dressed up for the Holidays in a jewel, metal case with an embossed golden bee.
Let’s have a look!
