There aren’t a ton of products that really grab my attention. It’s hard getting excited about beauty some times when I see a ton of repetitive ideas plus combine Musings of a Muse with my own obsessive beauty junkie ways and it’s understandable that occasionally I go into beauty burn out mode.
But sometimes something wonderful runs across my desk and I proceed to dance around and crow at the glory of it all. Hourglass No 28 Primer Serum is that some kind of wonderful for me.
I haven’t been this excited about a primer since Make Up For Ever introduced HD Elixir.
Facts is facts, this is expensive stuff but worth every single penny.
You NEED it.
Hourglass Cosmetics Veil Mineral Primer is turning into a super fast fav of mine. I buy a ton of different primers but I typically like using hydrating ones and they aren’t exactly great for keeping makeup long wearing.
Hourglass Cosmetics Veil Mineral Primer kinda combines the best of both worlds here with a hydrating feel but enough silicone to allow for a smooth surface for makeup to adhere to.
Take a look!
Being generally obsessed with cheek stain anything has taken me down the road to youthful, playfully pretty looks for most of makeup life. I’ve always gone the cheek stain route versus powders and creams because of the long wear time and the lovely little pop of color they give my cheeks and face.
In recent years, I started to use more and more powder blush which isn’t particularly forgiving on drier skin. Why oh, why did I ever stop using cheek stains?
Hourglass Aura Sheer Cheek Stain is the Cadillac of stains, seriously, this is gorgeous stuff although the near $50 price tag hurts my feelings a fair bit.
I admit it, I’ve disembarked from the crazy train and I’m no longer Gaga’s fan girl.
Please don’t hate me.
She’s just become a little too much for me.
But I do so want to shop the good shop at her Barney’s Gaga Workshop particularly when goodies like Lipstick Queen Monster Red is calling my name!
Check out a few of the beauty offerings from Lady Gaga’s Gaga Workshop!
Here’s an interesting little pick for dramatic lashes this Fall.
Hourglass Film Noir Lash Lacquer is a mascara topcoat that paints on and leaves behind an inky black shine.
Mmm patent leather for your lashes!
You top your lipstick with gloss, your nail polish with a clear coat, why not a topcoat for your lashes?
