Oh hai matte, nude, natural pink lipstick from Illamasqua.
Care to muse it with me?
Check it below!
Not loving my new shade of Illamasqua in Test as I’m not much a nude girl but I’m positive a slew of people will jump on board with this one. It’s a creamy, pink beige shade that’s completely mod chic. Loving the formula as it’s super pigmented and moisturizing.
If nude is your game this should please especially for Fall! Although I’m not too keen on this particularly shade I headed onto Sephora and ordered two more shades as I’m digging the formula. I snagged Tramp and Over. Eager to get ‘em and try out. Full review coming shortly!
Love nude shades of lippies?

Tried out Illamasqua Lipstick yet?
What do you think?
An edgy, mysterious, unexpected Fall Collection from Illamasqua? Sounds about right to this Muse’s ears.
Illamasqua reports on it’s new Fall Collection entitled Dystopia on it’s official blog and things are looking interesting.

Dontcha just love products with “intense” in the name. Golly, that must mean they are really special. Intense gloss..oooooo! So important!
Ilamasqua Intense Lipgloss has made it’s way to US shores recently and the Muse must say indeed it’s intense. Intensely rich, intensely pigmented, intensely thick and creamy….yup, intense for shiz.
Jump for it!
All though I’m not a lover of matte gloss I can’t help but be slightly tickled over the new Ilamasqua Intense Lipgloss.
Housed in an ultra slim line tube this gloss is unlike anything I’ve had the pleasure of trying to date. It’s more like a lip enamel as it gives lips a patent leather shine.
I’ve never had the pleasure of using anything like it in all my beauty days. It’s quite like a thick, creamy, ooey gooey lip cream. The gloss is incredibly pigmented and extremely thick in consistency. You’d think the combination of those two traits would make it a mess to deal with but so not the case. The gloss fairly glides onto lips without having to go back over it (you can if you want to get an extra, extra bold look) as it’s rich pigmentation covers lips completely in a thick layer of beautiful gloss. Although thick it feels quite comfortable on without being sticky, tacky, or overwhelmingly heavy. It’s quite lightweight for such a formula and feels natural and pleasant on my lips.
I’m actually pleased with the applicator as well which is a simple squeeze tube with a narrow, thin slant. The slant fits the curve of my lips quite well and aids in getting the gloss in place minus mess or drama. The gloss itself also has a fresh fruity taste and scent. It also manages to wear very long.
The color I tried was Indulge which is a hot neon pink. Not exactly my shade of choice but surprisingly works well with a minimal makeup look!
If you’re a lover of very thick glosses with super pigmentation Illamasqua Intense Lip Gloss is bound to please.
Have you tried Illamasqua gloss yet?
At first glance Illamasqua Blush in Tremble is easy enough to pass up. Matte, a bit chalky, and unappealing on a whole one would easily skip it in favor of another shade.
Jump ahead to hear if Tremble makes the cut!
I’m a self proclaimed hater of matte finishes so of course when I got my hands on my first Illamasqua Blush I was heartbroken at the dull, matte finish. Le sigh. Illamasqua makes matte it’s game as a majority of it’s collection is made up of the finish. The Muse was determined to try this out even if it killed her.
Turns out matte isn’t so bad and Tremble isn’t as chalky as I though. This sheer, subtle baby pink has pretty decent color pay off and gives a kiss of cheeky innocent pink to my face. The formula is pretty silky smooth and richly pigmented, don’t let the product in the pan fool you as it does appear very chalky and unimpressive. The shade has a surprisingly rich pigmentation and works quite well on my medium fair skin. The shade is buidable so you can do a quick swipe of pink or layer it up for a bolder pop of color. Actually the shade Tremble quite reminds me of the Balm Down Boy Blush
but with a bit more pop!
Overall, if this is what the rest of Illamasqua Blushes are looking like count the Muse impressed and ready for some hauling!
