Get the Look: Ashley Greene Wears Lancome to New Moon Premiere

OMG you guys!  I can’t wait for New Moon!  A few friends and myself already purchased tickets two weeks ago, how diseased and geeky are we.  Honestly, I dropped down on my knees in relief when I seen TL’s buzzcut, I swear if he keeps looking all kinds of hotness I could be swayed towards the Team Jacob side of the fence.  Hey, at least the boy looks like he took a shower, wish I could say the same for Rpattz.

Anyway…..

I’m not normally one for posting makeup looks but since I’m on my Twilight high I thought I’d slap up Ashley Greene’s Lancome Look which she wore to the New Moon Premiere.

Ashley Green Twilight New Moon

Celebrity makeup artist Vanessa Scali is guilty as charged for Ashley’s gorgeous, classic 60′s look with well-define eyes, lots of lashes, a strong brow, and clean skin with subtle kisses of pink and coral on cheeks and lips.

Vanessa evened out Ashley’s nearly flawless skin with a bit of Lancome Effacernes Concealer in Light Bisque underneath her eyes.  She followed up with Bobbi Brown’s Foundation Stick and Lancome Blush Subtil in Shimmer Pink Pool on the apples of the cheeks.

For Ashley’s eyes, Vanessa swept YSL Fard Lumiere Aquaresistant Cream Eyeshadow in Pink Sands over the entire eye.  To define and elongate the lash line, Vanessa used Lancôme’s Artliner in Black and lined the inner rims with Shu Uemura’s Painting Liner in White.  As a finishing touch she used a few generous coats of Lancôme’s Ôscillation Mascara in Black.  Ashley’s brows were sculpted with Lancôme’s Le Crayon Poudre in Brunet.

Finally, Lancôme’s hot new lipstick from the Pout-á-Porter series—L’Absolu Rouge in Chris & Tell—made a sneak peek appearance. The gorgeous hue, which was created for designer Chris Benz’s Spring show, will be available in February. The Chris & Tell waiting list is open at the Saks Fifth Avenue New York counter. Call 212-940-2033 to be added to the waiting list.

I think she looks lovely.  It’s a very classic look and appears quite minimal makeup wise doesn’t it?   It’s so weird seeing her all glammed up as I always envision her as a pixie-like Alice.  Although I’m kinda not into the Chris & Tell Lipstick, I think that’s off my lem list.  Will have to swatch and see.

What do you think of her look?

As Seen by the Muse: Lancome Bi-Facil On Sale

MuseSeen

If you’re a happy New Yorker (I’m kidding New Yorker’s are not happy. We are miserable people with attitudes) you can haul your butt to Woodbury and indulge in killer deals at the Lancome Factory Store.

They have concealer, foundation, eye shadow, blush, and a slew of other goodies priced at 4 for $40 but that’s not the best sale.

The best sale?

Lancome Bi-Facil!

As Seen by the Muse Lancome Bi-Facil Eye Makeup Remover on Sale for $15 bucks! Gasp! Score! Deal!

I happen to be too cheap to buy it for $26 dollars even though I’ve expressed my unquenchable lust and love for it over and over again. But two for the price of one? Ok, I’m in.

I snagged two for $30 bucks. Loves It!

They had plenty so if you head over this weekend you’ll probably snag some. I’m kinda thinking I should be greedy and go back for more.

Great deal if I do say so myself.

Lancome’s Oscillation Powerfoundation

Now….I did so give into the idea of a vibrating mascara last year but I can’t say whether or not I’ll go so far as to indulge in a vibrating…foundation?

Yes, you read that right.

Cashing in on the success of Oscillation Mascara, Lancome is now introducing Oscillation Foundation due out this Fall (October).

Lancome’s Oscillation Powerfoundation cushioned applicator delivers 7,000 micro-vibrations per a minute…..oo techy! This in turn breaks down the mineral foundation and seamlessly buffs the product into skin. Lancome lays claim this will give an airbrushed finish and a record breaking 14 hours of wear. It also has the added benefits of acting like a Clarisonic Brush by supposedly diminishing the appearance of lines and pores after one week and refining skin texture after four weeks.

Lancomes Oscillation Powerfoundation

Whoa.

Me? I didn’t like the Clarisonic Brush all that much so I’m unsure at this point how I feel about applying mineral foundation with a vibrating sponge…..

But you can try to convince me this will be a good thing.

What’s your word on the new Lancome’s Oscillation Powerfoundation?
