Lancome released O de L’Orangerie recently….is it me or do you want to say, “O da Orange!” whenever you see that typed out? Yeah, well, obviously I have way too much time on my hands.
After spending the better part of 30 minutes at our Lancome counter and bickering back and forth about which of the three O’s smelled the nicest and what five products we’d choose with our GWP, my best friend Jai and ended up not actually buying the newest scent…what a pointless trip….we did end up getting an old favorite that we never tried before which was Lancome O De Lancome Eau de Toilette.
I must have missed the memo on this one because I have never heard about it until now. Whoa. Weird. I thought I was well versed on all good things Lancome fragrance but obviously this one passed me by.
It’s a very mature fragrance and it won’t prove a favorite for everyone but Imma like smelling like old lady yo, yeah, it’s that kinda mature….
With the release of Deathly Hallows Part 2 come July we finally, with a heavy heart, get to lay our obsession with Harry Potter to rest.
Memo to self:
Bring tissues to premiere.
As we say our final good byes we also get to embrace the growth and maturity of stars like Emma Watson because let’s face it, Emma is here for the long run and we’ll be witness to her climb into Hollywood legend ever after the madness of HP has died down.
Emma recently got down to work for her Lancome ad campaign that I leaked to you a few months ago with famed fashion photographer Mario Testino in March in Paris.
This was actually the same day Lancome officially launched Emma Watson as one of their newest faces.
I did a brief post about the Lancome Bronze Azure Collection for Summer 2011 yesterday but it was pretty incomplete so I hope you don’t mind if I take a second to repost the complete collection for your info.
I’m kinda loving it at the moment and though you might too so I thought another post was in order.
Here’s a look!
Shhh beauty confession.
I’m sorta tired of highlighting powders, ya know the pretty ones.
Please don’t be horrified k?
Honestly, I really am kinda tried of the endless array of highlighting powders. Lancome and Estee Lauder are really big on ‘em. Particularly Lancome who has a knack for releasing one with every single collection lately. Now Lancome calls them a blush of sorts but in most cases they aren’t pigmented enough to act as a blush so let’s rename that bad boy to highlighter powder, k? Cool.
But I will say that the new Lancome Desert Rose Subtle Shimmering Blush in Island Horizon…well that’s looking all kinda of hot!
Let’s take a look at a few odd pieces that have popped up for Lancome Summer 2011.
Dior pretty much has my heart when it comes to click pen concealers but I can be tempted to the dark side to try something new.
Lancome Teint Miracle Instant Retouch Pen is Lancome’s first perfecting pen enriched with micro florescent particles that offers a surge of natural like. This is a lightweight version of Lancome Teint Miracle makeup that illuminates, smooths and visibly reduces imperfections.
I don’t think Lancome totes it as a concealer but more as a touch up pen which can give your skin a fresher, more flawless appearance.
It comes in six shades, is $29.50, and available now from Lancome.
Have you tried it?
