High-End Makeup Brands
Shiseido Anessa is one my absolute favorite products for Summer fun in the sun. It offers great protection at SPF 50 and wears quite well under extreme conditions such as a day at the beach or the pool.
I’m delighted that they have a brand new BB Cream that recently launched in Japan. This is available in two shade and offers an SPF 50 as well.
I’m quite eager to get my hands on it so expect a review soon. I’m having a friend who lives Tokyo grab me one up but keep your eyes on Adambeauty.com as I’m sure he’ll get it shortly at a very reasonable price.
Visit www.shiseido.co.jp if you’d like to explore the Anessa Collection.
If you caught the coral bug for Spring and still haven’t indulged in a Clarisonic you might want to check out the new flavors available in the Mia 2.
The Clarisonic Mia 2 is now available in three new delightful shades.
Mia 2 is enhanced with two speeds and a T-Timer that allows you to customize your skincare needs while still providing all of the sonic cleansing benefits in a compact, travel-friendly design.
If I didn’t already own the a full size and the original Mia I’d so be on board with that Coral shade.
Available now for $149 at Nordstrom and Nordstron.com
Dior recently brought their White Reveal BB Cream over to the US. It’s available now at Nordstrom and other fine retailers for $50. This was originally introduced in Asia so it’s great to see it finally here in our market.
Another exciting release is the new Dior Hydra Life BB Creme SPF 30 PA +++ (although White Reveal has the longer/better protection with an SPF 50). HydraLife BB Creme provides complexion-enhancing and even-toning properties of a foundation.
This single step BB Cream acts as a primer, foundation, SPF, and base all in one.
This one is a little more costly at $56 (White Reveal is $50) but knowing Dior it’ll be worth it.
Available now at Sephora and Dior counters.
Introducing the Illamasqua Human Fundamentalism Collection, where blinding flashes of pigment provide a sharp contrast to neutral tones, creating a saturated palette that catapults your alter ego to new levels of self-expression. Mix contrasting textures to express your true self, spiraling from rich metallic to pale matte shades.
