This Fall, Kenzo comes at us with a brand new eau de parfum. If you’re a fan of FlowerbyKenzo you’ll be quite delighted at this new scent which is a tribute to the original fragrance.
A sensual floral stream of rosa damascena, jasmine, sensual musks and vanilla make up FlowerbyKenzo Essentielle.
This new fragrance was composed by François Demachy and is housed in a three newly designed bottles by Serge Mansau. As with many of the Kenzo bottles, this is a slick, modern affair with an architectural look.

The British Beauty Blogger is on the case of the Lancome Holiday Collection 2009. Although it may be early for you to think of the Holiday, the world of beauty bloggers are already clamoring at the prospects of beautiful seasonal makeup.
Lancome releases yet another shimmering powder with this year’s holiday collection. I find that Lancome and Estee Lauder seem to keep with the powder theme much of the time. Obviously, this is a super secret ninja spy marketing technique because they know we can’t just pass up a powder that sparkles right? Lancome Sparkling Cherub Sheer Warming Illuminating powder has a cute little cherub embedded into the powder and appears to be made up of a bronze gold shade. Looks more Valentine-like to me but very pretty none the less.
Lancome Glossy Plum Color Fever Gloss looks like a rather festive red color. British Beauty Blogger reports it’s somewhat of gothic, vampy shade. I find it unique and quite fitting for the holiday.
Also releasing are two limited edition Lancome Oscillation Mascaras one of which is a sparkling gold and the other a silver. I’m really interested in both as I love sparkly lash looks for the Holiday.
The entire collection should be available on counters November 1st or probably before if this Muse’s Lancome hopes and wishes are granted.
So you know by now all your favorite beauty brands are out there in Twitter-land tweeting away about life, the universe, and everything. I should hope by now you’re followin’ ‘em and talking to them daily as they are a friendly lot.

It’s a social marketing media-fest as brands Tweet, Facebook, mySpace, and Blog their way through the Internet. It’s a great way of getting some one on one time with your fav brands.

So the Muse is busy trying to take on liquid liner again. She hasn’t perfected her technique yet but she’s trying hard. In my bid to become a pro liquid liner I’m testing out the new Givenchy Parad’Eyes Fluid Eye Liner. I’m thinking in order to perfect the perfect cat eye I need expensive, posh, $27 dollar liquid liner. What better one to give a whirl than Givenchy’s? Right?
I know the mentality behind my cosmetic Musings even baffles me.

The Muse never woke up one morning and though, “Gee, I really want to smell like Kat Von D!” but she admits it’s coming to that now. I don’t watch L.A. Ink and I’m not planning on getting ink myself…something about needles that terrify me…but I still find myself stalking everything Kat Von D does with her color cosmetic line and now her brand new fragrance line.
My latest ode to Kat? The new Kat Von D Solid Perfume Ring, please sir might I have one of these flashy flower do-dads for my pretty ring finger?
