High-End Makeup Brands
Don’t kill me Dior fans.
But I gotta admit I haven’t been excited about Dior Holiday in a very long time. But after laying eyes on the promo images found on a Livejournal account today, I gotta say, I’m overwhelmed. Wow. These are very me colors and I imagine I’ll be doing a fair bit of hauling if and when all this arrives on US shores.
Please keep in mind the site these were taken from is an International Site so release information, colors, and items may change once the Dior Holiday Collection 2010 reaches our shores.
Everyday I thank the Makeup Gods for blessing us with Tom Pecheux. Since filling the Estee Lauder Creative Makeup Director position, Tom Pecheux has taken the brand, in my opinion, to the next level.
It’s ok, you can admit it, you probably feel like Estee Lauder leans more towards your grandmother’s style makeup right? Hey, I’m there with you. Estee Lauder definitely has a mature audience and hasn’t really ventured past that for many years.
With Tom Pecheux filling the creative director chair at Estee Lauder the brand has started to have a more universal appeal. Collections and colors are becoming more and more interesting and with time I imagine and patience plus more releases like we’ve been seeing as of late, Estee Lauder will not longer be associated with your great aunts and grandmothers.
This proves true with a very interesting limited edition collection Estee Lauder Pure Color Extravagant Collection by Tom Pecheux that releases with the Estee Lauder Holiday Collection 2010 this year.
In 2006, Estee Lauder and Coach began its collaboration and the following year the first Coach fragrance was launched. Several years down the road and Estee Lauder Holiday Collection 2010 brings a little Coach into our lives.

For a very long time my favorite mascara was Majolica Majorca Lash Expander. This is a branch off brand created by Shiseido and at one time available exclusively within Japan but now it’s available in other Asian countries, just not, sadly, the US.
One of the most common questions I get about Lash Expander is how do I remove it? I’ve never had a problem removing the mascara but for some reason or another many people who use and love it have complained, ranted, and had major woe getting it all off. I simply use my normal oil based eye makeup remover but again, for some reason, that doesn’t seem to work for everyone.
This Fall, Majolica Majorca finally created and released Eyes Reset Gel for removing mascara. This is an exciting release for those who have had drama in the past with removing any mascaras by the brand. I was keen to try it myself out of morbid curiosity even though my normal remover worked just fine.
Jump ahead to hear my thoughts.
