High-End Makeup Brands
For a very long time my favorite mascara was Majolica Majorca Lash Expander. This is a branch off brand created by Shiseido and at one time available exclusively within Japan but now it’s available in other Asian countries, just not, sadly, the US.
One of the most common questions I get about Lash Expander is how do I remove it? I’ve never had a problem removing the mascara but for some reason or another many people who use and love it have complained, ranted, and had major woe getting it all off. I simply use my normal oil based eye makeup remover but again, for some reason, that doesn’t seem to work for everyone.
This Fall, Majolica Majorca finally created and released Eyes Reset Gel for removing mascara. This is an exciting release for those who have had drama in the past with removing any mascaras by the brand. I was keen to try it myself out of morbid curiosity even though my normal remover worked just fine.

Bobbi Brown at Sephora!
Yes, it’s true. Visit www.sephora.com to check out a full selection of Bobbi Brown Cosmetics.
For fans of the brand this is quite exciting, I’m a fan, believe me, it’s exciting. No but it’s exciting since Sephora makes returns so easy plus Sephora has alot of steals and deals such as 20% Off for a Friends and Family Event every year, etc…so hauling my Bobbi Brown at Sephora isn’t any great chore and I actually LOVE the idea and who knows maybe Sephora will get some exclusive sets and special editions.
I am THRILLED by this news.
I’m all about branching out to Sephora.
What do YOU think?
Bobbi Brown at your local Sephora?
Nay? Why not?
Thanks to reader Nina for telling me about this!
Gather round kids. I have to tell you a secret.
Fashion Week model looks do nothing for me.
I think they could possible torture and hang me for saying something like that. It might even be against the law.
Here’s the deal.
I’ve gotten 100’s of e-mails these past few days featuring 1000’s of made up models featuring various looks from various brands but honestly nothing captures me. It seems like the golden rule for Fashion Week is really nude, natural unflattering looks or something so outrageous that no one would honestly wear it like eyeshadow on someone’s forehead or something crazy like that.
I can’t be alone in my thoughts here.
Or am I?
After skimming through dozens and dozens of models this week and just feeling meh, I finally came across a bit of a yay with Estee Lauder Derek Lam for SS2011 Runway Show.
They did some amazing looks using pops of vibrant orange and coral which totally caught my fancy and had me thinking how major the models looked.
Check it and tell me what you think!

Squeal! Fan girl moment.
Bobbi Brown is having a Q&A on Twitter next Tuesday, mark the date, set your alarm, make sure you’re there! Her tweet up starts at 12 PM Eastern and she’ll be live, chilling out by her computer for an hour to answer your questions until 1 PM. Happy Days!
I really enjoy reading through the questions and answers as Bobbi gives some sound advice on all things beauty. During the last tweet up I think I had asked the best way to keep foundation in place without it oxidizing or maybe I asked about dark circles…hmm can’t remember now!
Anyway, I think I’ll have a little contest in honor of the big day! We all love a good giveaway right?
