Shiseido Anessa Perfect Gel Sunscreen SPF 50 PA++++ recently launched in Japan so I decided to skip out on my normal Allie SPF and try this instead.
I don’t believe Shiseido has every released a gel sunscreen prior to this in the Anessa Collection. Don’t quote me but they have always had liquid sunscreens as I recall. From my understanding the gel line will be available for a limited time but again don’t quote me on that.
Let’s take a look!
Shiseido Maquillage Essence Glamorous Rouge is available in a few new shades for Spring 2013 so I quickly snatched up one (even though I was tempted to get them all).
Maquillage is one of the sub-brands that’s part of Shiseido in Japan. Such a shame its never made its way to the US.
The appealing aspect of Essence Glamorous Rouge was the colors were inspired by natural lip colors and tone so it gives you that “your lips but better” finish.

I’m feeling like I’m committing makeup suicide when I admit to not liking Shiseido Lacquer Rouge. I mean there isn’t anything Shiseido makes that I don’t like so there must be something wrong me if I don’t like Shiseido Lacquer Rouge right?
Maybe I have a fever?
Maybe I’m sick?
Is it me? Or does everyone feel this way?
Shiseido Perfect Hydrating BB Cream SPF 35 ($33) is an odd animal as it just released but is only available in Medium and Dark. As an Asian brand the lack of a lighter skin tone option is a tad confusing. I tried it out in dark which was too dark for my tone unfortunately but I will be heading to counter shortly to see if Medium is a better option for me because as with most Shiseido bases this is a win!
You might just recall how obsessed I am with Sheidso Ma Cherie Shampoo & Conditioner that’s why the Shiseido Ma Cherie Hair Fragrance is a shoe in for me.
I adore the scent of Ma Cherie and really using the shampoo and conditioner alone give plenty of linger and throw to my locks already but the hair fragrance is a nice little finishing addition you might wish to indulge in.
