Cheek stain is one of my makeup life’s longest wearing product. Most makeup wears off, oxidizes, and never really wears well throughout the day but you can always rely on a good cheek stain to stay put until YOU take it off. How many cosmetics do that?! Not many in my opinion!
I recently stocked up on my favorite cheek stain by Vincent Longo as there is a sale ongoing at the moment of 25% Off and a reader had requested I review the product after getting it. Strangely enough, Vincent Longo Lip and Cheek Gel is my HG (holy grail) for a very long time now but I never took a second out to review it.

So the Holiday is here in what…one day? You are probably on the verge of telling me shut the hay up about Holiday Collections and just get to Spring already but please give me a second to tell you a story.
There’s always a story when the Muse is around.
Vincent Longo is a brand somewhat near and dear to my heart. I was pretty crushed that it was yanked from Sephora but happily had an adventure or three on their website. But the problem is they always had down time on the site and upgrading, under construction, yada, yada….so it kinda fell off my beauty radar.
Randomly I clicked over.
And whoa.
Dude…they actually have a Holiday Collection! The Vincent Longo Holiday Collection total lemming alert.

You ever find yourself adding items to your cart at Sephora and when you’re ready for check out you don’t have enough for free shipping. I normally notice I’m left scrambling around for something cheap to add to my cart so I can tip it to the $50 or $75 mark so I’m not stuck with shipping fees. This is also around the time I’m overspending as my cart which just had $45 dollars in it is now loaded down with near $100 bucks. Bad Muse, bad!
Here’s a handy guide to some great beauty buys that are $10 bucks and under at Sephora and worthy of a pick up if you have a $10 dollar bill burning a hole in your pocket or if you’re looking for that perfect, cheap item to tip your cart in the free shipping direction without over spending!
Check out a few great Cosmetic and Beauty Buys that are $10 Bucks and Under At Sephora after the jump!
Available in over 25 shades Sephora By OPI Nail Colour is merely $9 bucks each and the perfect treat for tips and toes without breaking the bank!
Fresh Cosmetics Magic Wands Mini Mascara Duo contains two mascaras for layering featuring Supernova Mascara and Firebird Mascara, all for $10 bucks!
Sephora Lush Flush Wine Lip & Cheek Stain gives the perfect natural flush to cheeks and that just bitten look to lips for $10 bucks!
Michael Kor Leg Shine To Go is my sister’s absolute fav item. Glide this smooth, silky shimmer on legs and arms for a bit of a sunkissed sheen! Plus the mini shine to go is only $10 bucks!
Bliss Fabulous Foaming Face Wash To Go is only $9 bucks so it’s ideal for travel friendly makeup removal plus you can try it before you commit to a larger size!
Sephora Make Up Brush Cleansing Wipes are $10 bucks and awesome for keeping by you makeup vanity during application. These wipes are super for whipping out and wiping brushes off for quick changes of color or easy peasy guck removal on the fly. I adore these and the price is just right.
Shiseido Makeup Facial Cotton is the best deal around in the Muse opinion but
you already know that from reading her past raves. $9.50 gets you a great big bundle of facial cotton for whisking off eye makeup in a flash!
Stila Charmed Eye Shadow Palette with 24 Karat Gold is probably the best deal and most talked about deal in the beauty blogging world at the moment. $10 bucks, four colors, and it’s Stila, hello lovely!
1oz of Philosophy Handmade To Go is $10 bucks and ideal for tucking in your desk draw, makeup bag, or for traveling with!
I gasped when I noticed that the Vincent Longo Diamante Quad was still in stock and $10 bucks at Sephora.
I loved it before when I splurged on it for much more and I love it even more now at it’s current price!
Korres Face Primer is pretty awesome if you have dry skin. You can check out the mini size for merely $10 bucks, cheapness!
Vincent Day Play Duo Compact Highlighter contains a shimmering kiss of highlighter for cheeks and face plus it’s a big ole palette for $10 bucks! Yums!
Korres Lip Butter is $9.50 and gives the perfect pigmented pout! I was introduced with to Korres Lip Butter when
I purchased a kit a few months ago and it was love at first dab.
These little treats are worthy of a check out and won’t break the bank. They are rather nice little bits to peek at if you happen to be at Sephora and aren’t wanting to over indulge but do deem yourself worthy of a little treat.
Hope you enjoyed the list and feel free to add some of your fav $10 dollar finds in the comment box!

Ahhh eye shadow. Bless be the woman who created eye shadow! The Muse has plenty of shades she loves.
Find out 10 she possibly couldn’t live without by clicking below!
Urban Decay Eye Shadow in Maui Wowie and Midnight Cowboy, these are golden, they shimmer, they contain heaps and heaps of sparkle, and I love ‘em. Can’t do without, no way, no how.
MAC LoveStone long since gone but big enough to last me into my next life! Swirling shades of beautiful maroon, red, hints of shimmering orange and gold…you get the point? Love!
I’ve done an ode to
MAC FireSpot prior to this but it’s worth speaking of my great love again. Bright pigmented fiery orange, indeed it’s love!
Milani Runway Eyes in Beach Sand is full of shimmery gold, I see a trend developing. Best shadow that Milani carries, hands down. It’s Summer right? So sportin’ this all through those long, hot days!
ALL of the
Bobbi Brown Sparkle Eye Shadows are to die for but the soft pink allure and shimmer of Ballet holds the Muse’s heart.
I remember my rave about
Napoleon Eye Patrol in Private Angel when my blog was still new, not alot has changed in regards to my feelings for this shadow. Again, another shimmering shade of gold and oh so pretty!
I’ve been known to get excited about Vincent Longo Wet Diamond Eye Shadow. Verite is my fav shade from the collection, believe me I have ‘em all! Deepest army green around with plenty of sparkle.
B Never Too Busy To Be Beautiful in Burke is always my fav eye shadow wash. Shimmering white makes the perfect prep for my bolder shadow shades!
Mattese N.Y.C. Shadow Dust in Queen is not only cheap as day old chips but gorgeous. The deepest shade of turquoise this Muse has ever had the pleasure of owning!
Those are my 10 Eye Shadows I can’t leave without! What are some of yours?
Tell ‘em!

Step back in time with the Muse and re-visit with some of what was happening in Summer 2008.
Bobbi Brown taught this Muse a thing or two about the benefits of combining pink with beautiful bronzes to create a killer Summer look! Check out the Muse’s review of the Bobbi Brown Bronzed Pink Collection from 2008.
Much excitement was afoot when the Muse discovered the new Stila Kitten goodies but sadly they did so disappointed. Gather round and listen to a tale of
Stila Kitten Silk Shimmer Gloss and Stila Kitten Silk Eye Shadow Wash.
MAC Solar Bits were somehow easy to forget after the Muse originally purchased them and you’ll understand why after reading my review!
What was the deal with
Too Faced Mineral Water? Find out by reading my review.
Bless Be! The
KATE Summer Collection 2008 was absolutely a joy for this Muse! She was partial to her favorite shadows being released in three new shades. Japan never looked so good.
Urban Decay taught the Muse how to love bronzer! Check out her review of the Urban Decay Summer Collection 2008 after this
jump.
Please MAC won’t your bring back
Volcanic Ash this Summer?
Small but lovely was the
Majorca Majolica Summer Collection 2008.
Vincent Long Liquid Shadow had a Muse crying nay! Check out her
review on these shadows introduced in the Summer of ’08.
Addict? Sure definately an addiction when it comes to the
Dior Addict Ultra Gloss Reflect shades that were released last year. Loves ‘em!
Cooling off with
Etude House Aqua Sherbet Skincare was easy especially since it smelled so pretty and looked equally gorgeous.
Hope you had fun clicking through some of Summer 2008. Maybe you came across a few reviews you missed from last year or discovered something new.
The Muse is a wonderin’…..
