Holiday Collections 2009
Days like today are the days I realize how much I’ll miss Prescriptives when it’s gone for good. Although many of you expressed sadness and outrage over the base makeup items in the collection, I’m actually quite saddened over the limited edition items. I really enjoy special collection releases from Prescriptives and this year’s Lustre Holiday Color Collection is truly brilliant.
Stepping up Holiday with an array of color gift sets, plus the new Holiday Cheek and Eye Palette, and now a full color collection, Prescriptives is going out with a bang.
Check out some of Prescriptives Lustre Holiday Color Collection after the jump!
Anyone notice that Bath and Body Works is slowly updating it’s catalog with the Temptations Collection? It’s set to officially release in stores on the 23rd I believe but it’s been around the site for a while now.
Today I was hopping around on the site and came across some n00bs.
I wonder what else they might release?
WANT! Bath and Body Works Shapeable Soap ($6.50)
Can’t help myself I want these! So far they only have two scents wonder if they’ll do the others? They are dirt cheap at $6.50 and so fun. Makes me feel like a kid again in my shower creating a sudsy soap beard with these. I have to haul some for shiz!
LEAVE! Bath and Body Works Temptations Shimmer Splash ($9)
You know I adore shimmer right? Just not in my body sprays thanks so much! I got these a few years ago and kinda hated all of them. I imagine I might be tempted to haul again because I like the smell of Twisted Peppermint but the damn shimmer kills me. Hopeful they will do a shimmerless version. Again, only two scents available but let’s see what they pop up with!
And finally the Bath and Body Works Temptation Body Lotion ($12) to match up with the body washes! Coolness!
Remember to check out your local Bath and Body Works sometime next week as I’m sure they’ll have some mega display for the Temptation Collection.
By the way….since they are sorting bringing back Temptations I was kinda hopeful it would lead along into Spring and Summer which had me thinking what scents I’d like to see if they did that.
What are some of your ideas for new scents?
I’d love to see a lime one and maybe a cherry one!
“Sleigh bells ring, are you listening, In the lane, snow is glistening
A beautiful sight, We’re happy tonight. Walking in a winter wonderland.
Gone away is the bluebird, Here to stay is a new bird He sings a love song, As we go along, Walking in a winter wonderland. In the meadow we can build a snowman, Then pretend that he is Parson Brown…….”
Dudes…who the hell is Parson Brown anyway? I had to go Google really quickly to find out! Turns out Parson Brown is another way of saying “minster”….huh? What? And here I was thinking he was some actor from the 50′s….goes to show you how much this Muse knows.
Oh well anyways….
I’m so walking in a Winter Wonderland today with a frosty treat on my eyes that was included with the new Korres Natural Wonders Color Collection. I’m all shimmery white and I even have on my pure white Jack Skellington hoodie…only problem is I feel like living in a plastic bubble because I’m going to cry if I get a speck of dirt on it.
This year Korres has all these killer kits they put together for making Holiday gift giving easy peasy, 1, 2, threesy!
Take the jump to check out my shimmery Winter Wonderland look using the Korres Natural Wonders Color Collection.
The Muse is ever so guilty of sometimes passing by great palettes and never realizing their potential. That would be the case with the new Lorac Silver Screen Full Face Collection Palette.
Oh my gosh, how did I miss this one? It’s available exclusively at Ulta and it’s $30 bucks and probably some of the best money you’ll spend on such a nice palette this season. Really liking the elegant looks you can create with.
Jump ahead to hear more.
Oh baby how I’m loving the new Bobbi Brown Chrome Eye Shadow! It’s like dressing my eyes up in liquid metal. So gorg! Available now in three gorgeous shades after this review I guarantee you’ll want to haul.
Check ‘em after the jump!
There isn’t ever any GOOD excuse to refrain from reviewing incredible makeup but let me explain my side of the Urban Decay Book of Shadows Volume II tale. I know SO many of you have e-mailed begging and pleading for me to review but I kinda wanted to do looks with the palette before reviewing…sigh….sadly my schedule is always jammed tightly packed and I didn’t have that chance to do the looks which is why I’ve been held up with my review.
Don’t hate me k?
Since Urban Decay Friends and Family is on at the moment now is good as any a time to spread the cheer and joy that surrounds Book of Shadows II.
Note before making the jump please know the post is photo intensive. I’d really appreciate it if you not download images from the post as it will bring down my site. I took lots of photos because I know it’s fun to see each and every aspect of a makeup item but it’s also at the cost of possibly causing a problem with my server so please refrain from downloading images, thanks!
