Jelly Pong Pong

The Muse isn’t a morning person. Ugh oh my god I am so not a morning person. I’m more of a night owl and when morning comes I’m all about yanking those covers over my head and pressing snooze a few dozen times! This all means that I can use as much concealer and other makeup to make me as presentable as possible in the morning because I’m left looking rough at 5 am!
Which is why I’m enjoying Jelly Pong Wakeup Makeup Palette. It’s a nifty little palette I got with the Jelly Pong Pong Deluxe Gift Bags I recently ordered and told you about. Although I didn’t make proper use of the complete palette, I’ll tell you why in a sec, I thought some of the items in the palette were rather brilliant!
Check it after the jump!
This chic little palette is quite user friendly for brightening up my entire complexion and getting me looking fresh and awake in the morning. The kit includes an eye brightener, a face brightener, 3 eyebrow shades, tweezers, and a brow brush. The kit is $27.50 and sadly too much for me to dish out for if I was purchasing it separately but since I got it with the gift bag I don’t feel too ripped off. Reason I’m not loving the price is because I’ll make absolutely no use out of the eyebrow shades as my brows are already dark and full enough. However, if your brows are thinner and need a little filling the kit is awesome.
Even though the eyebrow shades weren’t of much use to me I thought the face and eye brighteners were brilliant. The eye brightener isn’t extremely pigmented but it still manages to create a nice illusion of a well rested Muse. A tiny touch is all I need to wake my eyes up and make them look nice and fresh. I wouldn’t consider this a concealer so don’t expect it to hide away dark circles or other under eye woes however it does offer a slight brightening effect. This is great to use maybe after concealer or as a little touch up through the day or when you are using minimal makeup. A little goes a long way as it does have a slight iridescent finish kinda like
Lorac Double Feature Concealer. The face brightener is equally as nice as it does create a nice freshness to my skin. The result is very subtle, nothing wow aspiring but I rather like how it makes my skin look fresher particularly after a long day when I’m not wanting to redo all my makeup, a little touch of this and I’m looking nice once again!
Overall, the palette is rather nice if you think you’d make proper use of everything in it. For me it was a tad wasteful as I’m only really getting use from the face and eye brightener and possibly the tweezers. Maybe if they did a palette with just the two creamy brighteners that would be worthy of a purchase from me!
Anyone snag a deluxe bag?

The Muse recently shared the joys of Jelly Pong Pong Deluxe Gift Bags with you. Inside of one of the gift bags she purchased was the brand new Jelly Pong Pong Brush Set. Wahoo travel friendly brush sets are my down fall. I tend to over collect brushes when in fact I only need 3 or 4 to get the job done. But that never stops me from purchasing ridiculous amounts of brushes or sets, etc….it’s a disease.
I know many of you were curious if this particular set was worthy of a pick up.
Click it to see if it is.
I’m in high debate if the Jelly Pong Pong Brush Set is worthy of it’s $12 USD price tag. Considering I got mine in a Deluxe Gift Bag I’m feeling like it was a deal however splurging out $12 on it doesn’t appeal simply because it includes an eyebrow brush which I know will end up tossed in the bottom of a draw somewhere plus one of the brushes isn’t technically a brush it’s a sponge smudger. Taking away from all this the price still works out to less than $3 bucks a brush which isn’t bad at all.
Aside from the brow brush I’ll definitely get use out of the remaining four tools. The brushes are all extra soft and silky however not as dense as many brushes I’ve used for application in the pass. This could be a deal breaker if you like brushes a bit denser and stiffer. Personally I didn’t mind the extra softness and thought they had a certain quality to them for the price.
These make a rather fine travel friendly set and were included along with the Jelly Pong Pong Muffin and Meringue Gloss Set so I feel like I got a rather nice deal getting both item together. The set includes a blush brush, a smudger, a brow brush, and shadow shaders.

They aren’t MAC brushes but they aren’t half bad either. If you’re purchasing some Jelly Pong Pong items or a deluxe bag sliding these into your cart as well for a little test isn’t a hardship. It’s worth it if you don’t have a ton of brushes or you want some brushes to knock around with when traveling rather than bringing your more expensive tools along for the trip!

Today I’ll be showing you Jelly Pong Pong Muffin and Meringue Gloss Set! Too cutes and loving it so far with a hiccup or too here and there.

Housed in a jumbo pink and white striped box the new Jelly Pong Pong Muffin and Meringue Gloss Set contains two tubes of gloss. Loving the packaging so much on these. From the cute box they come in all the way to the very cute squeeze tube glosses I’m not sure what I adore most about these. The packaging of the glosses do not have an applicator so it’s a matter of dabbing on with your fingers or a lip brush. Squeeze, apply, and you’re good to go.
The set includes Muffin Gloss which is a light pale pink shade and Cherry Meringue which is a glossy berry stain. Both taste very nice although I’m leaning more towards Cherry Meringue as a fav for both taste and color. Muffin Gloss doesn’t really taste very muffin-like but more lemony. I didn’t really like Muffin’s color as it’s a very pale, nude pink. These aren’t very glossy and they feel a tad silicon like when they are on so I’m unsure if I’m in love with the formula or not at this point. I do like the sheer hint of red that Cherry Meringue gives to my lips and the burst of fruity cherry! Nice!
Overall, I think they are too cute and but I may be super bias about the formula since I adore the packaging so much. For a quick swipe and go they make a fine gloss although for a more fancy look you might prefer going with a MAC Lipglass or something a bit more substantial.
Cutes but needs a little work!
I’m wearing Cherry in my FOTD today which you can see here.
Anyone try these?

Here’s a little sneaky peek at the Jelly Pong Pong Deluxe Gift Bags I was telling you about earlier!

Not sure if anyone has been visiting Jelly Pong Pong lately but they have Deluxe Gift Bags again! Ok, so this is probably nothing to get too excited about considering the last bags weren’t available for shipment outside the UK. Boo! But have no fear they ship worldwide now. Yay!
Jump ahead to read the deets!
Ok, so, deluxe bags. What are they, why do you need ‘em. Jelly Pong Pong Deluxe Bags are basically filled with Jelly Pong Pong goodies and offered to us makeup junkies at a seriously discounted price. The first time these were offered Jelly Pong Pong was only shipping within the UK and only had one bag selection available. Since that time, things have changed. These are now available in three selections and are shipped worldwide, wahoo!
Bags are £10 each which converts to $16 USD plus shipping. I purchased all three bags for around $88 USD each which makes each bag around $29 USD each. I broke down each bag and added up what was inside and processed it as $111 USD of items. So buying all three I did save a little bit of money.
Few tips, if you do order they’ll charge you shipping but later send an invoice for the remaining shipping as it’s a standard flat rate of $6.95 but you’ll be charged more. Secondly, the price of $88 USD for all three bags shipped is for residents of the US. Anywhere else I do not know what they will charge for shipping so you can contact them prior to ordering for a shipping details.
Each bag contains two items each and you’ll have three choices for bags however you cannot choose the contents of bags. The bags are as follows:
Jelly Pong Pong Deluxe Bag One Includes:
Jelly Pong Pong Hawaiian Sun ($20 USD Regular Price)
Jelly Pong Pong Cheek Puff ($14 USD Regular Price)
Jelly Pong Pong Deluxe Bag Two
Jelly Pong Pong Muffin and Meringue Gloss Set ($22 USD Regular Price)
Jelly Pong Pong Brush Set ($12 USD Regular Price)
Jelly Pong Pong Deluxe Bag Three
Jelly Pong Pong Wakeup Makeup ($27.50 USD Regular Price)
Jelly Pong Pong Cherry Pie ($15 USD Regular Price)
All the items in the bag are full size products and very, very cute. I’ll be reviewing the items I got in my bags shortly in various posts. All in all I think these are really good deals and a great way to try out Jelly Pong Pong. All the items are brand new to the Jelly Pong Pong line and some are particularly fun for Summer.
If you want to indulge visit www.jellypongpong.com
If you’re just wanting one of the items you see in a bag you can always order it separately as well!
Happy Shopping!
