Lush’s first ever lip gloss for Valentine’s Day makes my lips pucker in delight. Lush the Kiss Lip Gloss was recently launched with their Valentine’s Day 2013 Collection and I was a little skeptical about trying it. Typically Lush lip balms are very dense…as much as I love the brand I haven’t loved a single one of their lip balms.
Le sigh!
The Kiss I was skeptical of but also very interested as it wasn’t called a balm but a lip gloss! Wow…this is the first potted lip gloss in known history.
Is it good?

Once upon a time, back in the 90′s, when it seemed like Jean Rochefort was much younger by not a lot, he starred in one of my favorite French films, The Hairdresser’s Husband.
As with many French films I’ve watched, The Hairdresser’s Husband contains its fair deal of sex, passion, romance, love, and some sadness.
The story revolves around a 12 year old version of Jean Rochefort’s character who falls in love with his hairdresser. Later on in life he romances and marries a similiar such hairdresser. Obviously his wet dreams about his childhood crush have carried well into his adult ones. And so begins an odd romance….!
Without giving too much away there’s a scene in the movie that showcases the characters having a drink of cologne and aftershave because they don’t have any liquor. It’s morbid, comical, and it always made me laugh.
Funny enough, leave it to Lush, to create a perfume based on this foreign film and dub it the Hairdresser’s Husband. I’m surprised that Lush didn’t make it edible as well so we could wear it and drink it as well.
But sorry, no reenacting fabulously memorable movie moments here, this is simply for wearing not drinking.

Anyone try Lush Cream Eyeshadow as of yet? Lush launched their Emotional Brilliance Cream Eyeshadows a few short months ago but this is the first time I’ve gotten a chance to check out the formula. I tried the liquid lipstick so far and the eyeliner but not the shadow.
I love cream eyeshadows so was quite excited about this launch.

I told you about the
Lush UK Fragrance Round a few days ago which happens tomorrow. I just wanted to tell you to keep your eyes peeled on
Lush’s NA Facebook as there will be a fragrance party happening in the US on December 13 (confirmed this with Lush this morning). I don’t have exact details but they told me there would indeed be a round here in the US and the same fragrances the UK is getting we will also be getting.
I don’t have prices of fragrances but here’s the list from the UK:

I hope this great news completes your wishes for the Holiday Season

Lush doesn’t want me to tell you that Snow Globe Soap is like Sexy Peel Soap on crack cocaine. It’s like Sexy Peel and Lemslip got together and had mad, passionate sex and nine months later they had a Snow Globe baby!
Oh joy to my loving soap world! This scent is amazings! Thank god it’s back for Holiday 2012 so I can stock up on it and brace myself for the long winter ahead!

Lush Twilight Shower Gel makes a reappearance for Holiday 2012. Yes, it’s back! It was released during an April Showers Party in 2011 but disappeared mighty fast.
But it’s back now and will be the perfect addition to the hot bath I plan on taking when I get home. I have the migraine from hades today and it isn’t going away. My solution for a bad headache? A warm bath with my favorite Lush product. I swear by a Lush bath to chase away migraines and bad headaches. And Twilight is the perfect scent too with a soothing, relaxing, comforting blend of lavender.
My headache thanks you Lush!
