I’m a finger girl. I apply my foundation with my fingers, occasionally I apply eyeshadow with fingers, and of course, I apply concealer with my fingers. Dab it on, smooth it out, and done. I really like the E.L.F. Studio Concealer Brush, actually I swear by it, but prior to discovering it I used alot of various concealer brushes from many high end brands but never really got the results I get when I simply use my fingers (my free fingers mind you, not my over $30 beauty tool ha).
Recently, I saw the Sephora Professionnel Platinum Concealer Airbrush #57 for $24 and thought to myself how I seriously didn’t need it. What was the point when I was so very happy with my three buck E.L.F. brush and my trusty dab and pat motion with my free fingertips?
But I decided to try it anyway and I’m here to say you NEED it.

The look of love, it’s tonight, it’s tonight!
Even though I’m not technically a child of the 80′s as I had my tween and teen years in the early 90′s I still appreciate everything having doing with the era particularly the music thanks to my older sister over exposing it to me as a child. w00t! It was the second British Invasion and such an amazing era of great music.
Sorry I got off topic there but the new Too Faced Look of Love Set got me humming that little ditty this morning plus it’s Valentine’s Day so I was hoping to wear that romantic Look of Love out today!

If you’re really digging the packaging on MAC Wonder Woman you’ll be happy to dig into the accessories they are releasing along with the color collection. The mirror is proving my favorite of the lot however there are also brush sets available and bags.

My fav brush is the MAC 224 but at nearly $30 for a single brush, well, this blending action doesn’t come cheap! If you’re currently looking for a budget alternative that will fit comfortably within the crease the NYX Crease Brush should do the trick cheaply!

I purchased the Stila Dramatic Eye Palette during the Stila Online Warehouse several weeks ago. Sadly, it’s now gone from the site however I have a funny feeling during their next sale it’ll pop up again however if you simply can’t wait to try it after my review I do suggest E-bay as I’ve seen a few valid sellers that have it available for as little as $10!
The Dramatic Eye Palette is pretty much the same design as the $10 IT Girl Palette released a few months ago. It contains three shadows and the set I purchase also included a brush and eyeliner pencil. I can’t recall what I paid for the entire set but it was in the realms of $14 I think!?
Here’s a brief review and swatches if and when it pops back up at Stila.

I’m all about travel friendly makeup options particularly because traveling with anything lately becomes harder and harder due to many rules and regulations about what you can and can’t bring with you on a trip.
Sephora has a mini selection of clear brushes available for $6! Quite a cute travel option!

Still stumped for beauty gifts? Brush sets are always a great one to go for! Particularly ones that are of high quality because I’m of a strong believer that makeup junkies can never have too many great brushes to apply their face with.
The Sephora Travel Clutch Brush Set is available in a festive red brush bag with a mirror and wristlet for toting around plus don’t forget the six brushes it hides away inside.

I’m totally a finger girl. Most everything in the base department gets blended on my face using my fingers. Concealer, primer, foundation, etc…it all gets smoothed on and blended out with my greatest tools, fingers.
Anyone else in the same boat?
You can have your brushes, sponges, and puffs…I got two fingers and they work just as great plus they didn’t cost me anything!
But….
On occasion I can be tempted to whip out a foundation or a concealer brush. For example, I prob couldn’t get through my daily prep without the E.L.F. Studio Concealer Brush. Love that thing!
Recently, I decided to try out a new foundation and concealer brush from Coastal Scents.
Let’s take a look!
