Napoleon Perdis Luxe Ultimate Brush Collection Review

Napoleon Perdis Luxe Ultimate Brush Collection 001

It’s a sea of Holiday Brush Sets out there.

It’s possibly the best time of the year to make serious purchases to add to your personal brush stash. Buying single brushes from brands such as MAC can become a costly experience that’s why the Holidays are such a great time to stock up because you can get so much more for less.

Almost all high and mid-range brands have 3, 5, 10, or more brushes available in a set. Sometimes brushes are full size if you’re lucky but in most cases they are normally mini. Mmm sometimes they do suffer quality problems if they are mini but I think it’s safe to say in many cases I’ve always been plenty pleased with sets I’ve purchased during the Holidays.

This is particularly the case when you’re looking at a five piece set for say $50. That puts you at $10 per a brush therefore knocking down the price on that $35 full size blending brush to a mere $10 for the mini version. Sweet right?

Napoleon Perdis is always kind enough to introduce his Holiday Brush Sets in full size version. Score!

Take a look at one of his new Luxe Brush Collection Sets for Holiday 2011.

Clarisonic Mia Sonic Skin Cleansing System New York City

Clarisonic Mia Sonic Skin Cleansing System New York City 001

I have a regular Clarisonic and I have a Mia however I am rethinking both of those brushes for a new one.

The new Clarisonic Mia Sonic Skin Cleansing System New York City one.

I’m a New Yorker therefore I need a New York City Mia right?

Clarisonic’s travel-friendly skincare brush gets a make over with a skyline of New York City printed on it.

The set includes:

  • Mia Sonic Skin Cleansing Brush and Brush Head
  • 1 oz Gentle Hydro Cleanser
  • Portable Charger

Revlon Concealer Brush Review Not the Answer to the Ultimate Question or the Silence that Will Fall When The Question Is Asked

Revlon Concealer Brush 004

You ever want to try something just for the sake of trying it? I really love my E.L.F. Studio Concealer Brush. It changed my concealing life….! I never used a brush for concealer application but after discovering it I can’t think of my concealer life without it.

Recently I decided I’d indulge in a smaller Revlon Concealer Brush…it was five bucks and I was just feeling lucky…perhaps it would be just as amazing as the E.L.F. Studio Concealer Brush.

Musings of the Day: How Are You Doing with Your Urban Decay The Revolution Lash Curler?

Urban Decay The Revolution High Performance Lash Curler 5

Well…

Mine went back! I just couldn’t get a knack for it. I was reading a ton of reviews and it seems to be a hit or a miss. People either really embrace it and have the skill to use it and others are having trouble using it without poking an eye out (I fall into this group).

Curious minds, if you ordered it, how are you doing with it?

Chanel Recourbe Cils de Chanel Precious Eyelash Curler Review

Chanel Recourbe Cils de Chanel Precious Eyelash Curler 001

“What’s in a name? That which we call a rose, by any other name would smell as sweet.”

Indeed, fair Juliet, what’s in a name? Obviously alot of emphasis is placed on brand names. Slap Chanel’s name across an eyelash curler and instantly it becomes something we all covet and must own.

The new Chanel Recourbe Cils de Chanel Precious Eyelash Curler became an instant obsession for me when it released in Asia earlier this year. I’ve been sitting on it for a while as I was unsure when the actual North America release would be, I suspected Holiday 2011. It appears we don’t have to wait as far away as Holiday as Chanel gifts us with their eyelash curler for the Fall season.

Do you need it?
