“What’s in a name? That which we call a rose, by any other name would smell as sweet.”
Indeed, fair Juliet, what’s in a name? Obviously alot of emphasis is placed on brand names. Slap Chanel’s name across an eyelash curler and instantly it becomes something we all covet and must own.
The new Chanel Recourbe Cils de Chanel Precious Eyelash Curler became an instant obsession for me when it released in Asia earlier this year. I’ve been sitting on it for a while as I was unsure when the actual North America release would be, I suspected Holiday 2011. It appears we don’t have to wait as far away as Holiday as Chanel gifts us with their eyelash curler for the Fall season.
Do you need it?
The injection of the Kai Group Pallete for Liquid Foundation into my daily regime was a no brainer for me. I make a proper mess when I am putting on BB Cream or concealers. Normally I’m mixing them on my arm and that’s a bad idea because I end up getting it on my clothes, other parts of my body, my vanity…everywhere.
This handy little tool is an essential if you’re an arm mixer!
I’ve had the Chanel Precision Eyelash Curler since its release early this year in Asia. I’ll be reviewing it shortly actually as it is now available stateside.
Take a look!
The Sonia Kashuk Curl Up Eyelash Curler has the true potential for greatness my friends. This little piece of beauty gadgetry is part of Sonia Kashuk’s Fall 2011 Collection and is available now at Target.
I’ve never really paid attention but I do believe there has been a curler or two available from the brand before but as of now they only have a smaller travel curler which addresses individual lashes rather than a full fringe of lashes plus a travel curler which looks like a heated curler.
Outside of these I’m not sure if I’ve ever really noticed the brand having a full size curler available outside of an LE one during Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Feel free to correct me if I’m wrong.
Now the Sonia Kashuk Curl Up Eyelash Curler could prove to be solid gold awesomeness in the curler world but it has a few hiccups that are hard to overlook!
I hate mixing foundation and concealer on the back of my hand as it normally ends up in a mess. It ends up on my clothes, on my arm, everywhere but my face….
That’s why I love the idea of this cute little beauty tool!
