This review of the Tarte Be MATTEnificent Amazonian Colored Clay Matte Eye & Cheek Palette ($36) feels a little late because ALL OF YOU have tried it before me I wasn’t sure I liked the idea of a matte eyeshadow and blush palette to be honest but if anyone at all was going to change my mind about matte it was Tarte.
Tarte introduced me to mattes I actually LOVED! I think the first time I really dug a matte eyeshadow as when I hauled the original Tarte Jewelry Box Palette that was launched around 2009 or so. That palette had a huge array of eyeshadows in a ton of different finishes and yes, there were mattes in there. No one can deny that Tarte’s super silky matte formula is so easy to work with and use. My experience with mattes up to that point had all been bad. Dry, chalky, with a patchy application that looked horrid on my eyes. Seriously, matte just wasn’t for me.
But in comes Tarte and singlehandedly they change my mind. To this day I’m still a little scared of matte anything but I know if Tarte’s behind the wheel I’m safe.
The Tarte Be MATTEnificent Amazonian Colored Clay Matte Eye & Cheek Palette reinforces the fact that Tarte knows how to do mattes.
The NYX Butt Naked Turn the Other Cheek Palette ($25) is a follow up of the Butt Naked Palette that NYX released last year. This all in one eyeshadow palette contains five shades for eyes as well as four blushers, and three highlighters.
Created to enhance your natural beauty this is filled with both natural, nude and matte and shimmer shades.

Physicians Formula Nude Wear Glow Nude Blush is available in two shades this Spring with the new Physicians Formula Nude Wear Spring 2014 Collection. This is a permanent collection of products so if you don’t find it in drugstores right away no worries it’ll pop up shortly.
I always think of it as Physicians Formulas customary Valentine’s Day release as their products for Spring always seem so romantic and cutesy for not only the season but the Valentine’s Day holiday too right?
These new palettes come in flesh colored square compact with a sweet metallic pink bow gracing the front.

Maybelline welcomes six new shades of Master Glaze Blush Sticks for Spring 2014 to their permanent Face Studio Collection. Maybelline Master Glaze Blush Stick ($8.99) is hopefully a better option to our needs for a drugstore blush stick after the horrifying fiasco of Revlon Baby Stick. Let’s face it what the drugstore world needs now is more blush sticks because the selection is a lacking.
Let’s take a look at the Maybelline Master Glaze Blush Stick and see what the good word is.
Too Faced Peach Beach Sweethearts Perfect Flush Blush ($29) is one of two new Sweethearts Perfect Flush Blush colors that Too Faced introduced with their Haute Chocolate Spring 2014 Collection.
If you loved the original Sweethearts Blush you’re likely very excited to have two brand new shades to choose from (these are part of the permanent collection as of now). I didn’t get on great with the original shade as it reminded me of a Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick basically translating as lots of shimmer and highlight but no real color.
Needless to say I was excited about a new shade because I was hopeful it would be more pigmented.
Here are my thoughts on Peach Beach!
