Maybelline welcomes six new shades of Master Glaze Blush Sticks for Spring 2014 to their permanent Face Studio Collection. Maybelline Master Glaze Blush Stick ($8.99) is hopefully a better option to our needs for a drugstore blush stick after the horrifying fiasco of Revlon Baby Stick. Let’s face it what the drugstore world needs now is more blush sticks because the selection is a lacking.
Let’s take a look at the Maybelline Master Glaze Blush Stick and see what the good word is.
Too Faced Peach Beach Sweethearts Perfect Flush Blush ($29) is one of two new Sweethearts Perfect Flush Blush colors that Too Faced introduced with their Haute Chocolate Spring 2014 Collection.
If you loved the original Sweethearts Blush you’re likely very excited to have two brand new shades to choose from (these are part of the permanent collection as of now). I didn’t get on great with the original shade as it reminded me of a Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick basically translating as lots of shimmer and highlight but no real color.
Needless to say I was excited about a new shade because I was hopeful it would be more pigmented.
Here are my thoughts on Peach Beach!
I remember being far from impressed with MAC Extra Dimension Blush on the original release and MAC At Dusk Extra Dimension Blush, one of three new shades launching with the MAC Magnetic Nudes Collection, is far from impressive either.
MAC Extra Dimension Blush made their first appearance for Spring 2013 and we get a new selection of these of them for Spring 2014 along with new Extra Dimension Eyeshadows and Skinfinishes.
At first try I said they sucked….they are so sheer even though they appear pigmented in the pan! Plus the metallic finish one would expect simply isn’t there.

The traditional Magie Deco Cosme Decorte Makeup Coffret II for Holiday 2013 launches earlier this month in Japan and features an affordable selection of Cosme Decorte products presented in a festive box for getting or gifting.
This set runs around $90 via a variety of retailers and this is quite a deal because typically Cosme Decorte Makeup is quite expensive purchasing single products so I find this is a nice way to grab some of their products without dropping a ton of cash.

Cargo Los Cabos Water Resistant Blush ($26) is one of those blushes that I don’t really need because it’s so similar to colors I already own. But who can resist golden peachy gorgeousness?
I feel like I’m rushing away the Holidays with this one as it makes me thing of Spring break on a beach, sipping a tropical drink, lazing in the sun, and reading a good book. HOWEVER….I’d never DO any of that. I avoid the beach like the plague (I’m more of a pool girl) and sitting in the sun? Never happen! This skin won’t take to lounging in the sun, at least not without a heaping helping of SPF and even after that I won’t expose myself to that much sun in a single sitting.
So maybe it’s best to take home this blush and have a little tropical get away right in front of my makeup mirror!
