Avon Extra Lasting Concealer Review & Swatches

Avon Extra Lasting Concealer

I decided to give Avon Extra Lasting Concealer a try earlier this month since it was on sale. Hey, $4.99 concealer seemed a tempting morsel. Extra Lasting Concealer is typically $9 but Avon has had it on sale for a fiver the last month or so. This comes in 7 shades and claims 18 hours of concealing wear.

I typically don’t have a ton of issues with my concealer fading. Blame it on my drier eyes but my concealer tends to stay put once applied and very rarely fades away so I’m unsure if I really need a formula that lasts eighteen hours because if I wanted it too my current concealer can go a full 24.

But….

Anything to try a new concealer I say!

Dior Hydra Life BB Eye Creme Review & Swatches

Dior Hydra Life BB Eye Creme

As you know Dior introduced two new BB Eye Creams one of which is the new Dior Hydra Life BB Eye Creme and the other is the new Diorsnow BB Eye Creme.

With BB Creams being so popular at the moment I was pleasantly surprised to see Dior doing a BB Cream for eyes. Granted, Asia has so many different BB Cream type products including concealers but we have yet to see one here in the US. So indeed, I was quite excited to try this out.

Take a look!

Josie Maran Argan Infused Creamy Chubby Concealer Review & Swatches

Josie Maran Creamy Chubby Concealer

Heads up concealer junkies, Josie Maran Argan Infused Creamy Chubby Concealer just launched on QVC.com in four shades. Being a rather fond fan of Josie Maran Argan Full Coverage Concealer Pen with Setting Powder but a not so big fan of Josie’s Erase and Rewind Argan Concealer or her Argan Blend Concealer had me on the fence about this new creamy chubby concealer pencil!

So far my track record isn’t great with her concealers so I wasn’t sure I needed to try a new one…I must admit the Concealer Pen is long gone but never forgotten from my mind. I loved that thing! The setting powder I never really used and the design of the entire concealer was a little off but it was thee perfect shade for me and really went a long way at brightening up my eyes and concealing my woe. I was so sad it was available for such a short time. Ever after that I’ve made it my business to try all of Josie’s concealers in the hopes it would live up to that formula and sadly none have…!

Hopefully the new Argan Infused Creamy Chubby Concealer will change my mind!?

Banila Co About Eyes Dual Eye Care Review & Swatches

Banila Co About Eyes Dual Eye Care

All concealers should come with their own eye cream like Banila Co About Eyes Dual Eye Care Primer and Eye Cream Duo. Seriously, I just want all my concealers to come with their own little jar of eye cream that I can prep with prior to application. I overdose on eye cream anyway since my eyes are stupid dry. And without or with too little my concealer does NOT apply correctly. So a little reminder pot included with my concealer I would not be averse too.

Take a look at Banila Co’s all in solution!

K-Palette Japan Zero Kuma SOS Cover Control Makeup Eye Concealer Review & Swatches

K Palette Japan Zero Kuma SOS Cover Control Makeup Eye Concealer

I purchased K-Palette Japan Zero Kuma SOS Cover Control Makeup Eye Concealers a while back ago, tried them once, and proceeded to toss them into the makeup graveyard.

At the time they were just too dry for me….flash forward a few months later and I decided to give them another try. I’m glad I did because they actually aren’t half bad with proper prepping and priming.

Take a peek!

Covergirl + Olay Eye Rehab 2 in 1 Concealer Review & Swatches

Covergirl + Olay Eye Rehab 2 in 1 Concealer

Occasionally comical products pass by my desk and Covergirl + Olay Eye Rehab 2 in 1 Concealer is one of those products. Seriously, this is a product that makes me laugh, shake my head, and ask “Why!?”

At first I was quite excited about this. It was a concealer with a hydrating serum built right in! It comes in a small pump style bottle with a helix design that shows the concealer swirled with a creamy serum. The idea and concept seemed great.

So why was it so funny?

Innisfree Mineral Perfect Concealer Review & Swatches

Innisfree Mineral Perfect Concealer

I recently purchased Innisfree Mineral Perfect Concealer in the hopes it would be a creamy, emollient concealer for under my eyes. It’s actually marked as more of a facial concealer but honestly, I don’t really use concealer on my face so I thought I’d just attempt a test out under my eyes.

Here are a few thoughts!

Mally Instant Erase Concealer Review & Swatches

Mally Instant Erase Concealer

Mally Beauty Instant Erase Concealer recently launched on QVC with a blending brush. I admit, the blending brush, it kinda sold me. Also the fact that I’m a huge concealer h0r! I owned and used Mally’s Cancellation Concealer Set for a very long time and it was my HG (holy grail) for literally ages thus that love led me to my purchase of Instant Erase Concealer recently.

If Instant Erase is as great as her Cancellation Concealer I was surely in for a treat!

How to Conceal Dark Circles & Brighten Eyes

How to Conceal Dark Circles

The mostly commonly asked question I get is “How do I conceal my dark circles?” “How can I brighten my eyes?” Concealing and brightening eyes will differ for everyone in my opinion. Like snowflakes, dark circles differ especially since we all have different undertones so perhaps you don’t necessarily have dark circles but maybe blue ones or even yellow. Darkness will vary from skin tone to skin tone.

I don’t think I necessarily have a major problem with dark circles mostly my eyes suffer from puffiness if I’m working on a few hours of sleep or over computer use and gaming, straining my eyes will make my eyes look tired, puffy, and old. I already have some fine lining combined with dryness so indeed my eyes do tend to look tired.

Below you’ll find some of my favorite products and tips to brighten up my eyes, conceal dark circles, and give me a the illusion of looking like I had eight hours of sleep when in fact it was only five.
