I recently realized that Tarte Amazonian Clay Full Coverage Concealer and Tarte Maracuja Creaseless Concealer are two different products. How in the world do I let things like this slip me by?
They look so similiar I hadn’t realize it was too different concealers. Duh! Tarte Amazonian Clay Full Coverage Concealer was recently released for Spring 2013 in five selections on QVC.
One of the best parts about this launch is the fact that QVC bundles the concealer with an excellent Double-Ended Airbrush Concealer Brush much like my beloved Sephora Pro Airbrush Concealer Brush for $23.14. Where can you get a full coverage concealer and a brush for application at that price?

I’m hearing so many raves for the new NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer! I can’t believe how well received these are. Being a concealer junkie you know I had to get my hands on some and try them out for size.
NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer ($28) launches next month in stores (I believe Sephora.com is already stocking them) and sound like a true dream concealer promising full coverage with a crease-proof, long wearing formula.
These are available in ten shade selections all of which, from what I’ve tested and seen, have a peach or yellow undertone. This type of undertone proves excellent for diffusing the look of dark circles.
Let’s take a look!
The new Benefit Fake Up Crease-Control Hydrating Concealer ($24) will be available this March in three shades. I happen to be a huge fan of Benefit concealers particularly Boi-ing which has played a very important part of my early twenties concealing adventures. When I heard Benefit Fake Up Concealer was launching I immediately couldn’t wait to get my hands on it and play!
Hydrating concealer? Check I need some of that considering how dry my eyes are! Crease-control? I need that too please! Thanks every so much.
So what’s the verdict on Benefit’s newest concealer?
Revlon released a new version of Colorstay Concealer for Spring 2013. I’ve never tried this concealer before but I do believe it might simply be a repackaged version of their original Colorstay formula which used to come in a click pen applicator. But don’t quote me as I never tried that one….! I’m assuming that perhaps it was repackaged and has minor formula adjustments.
According to Revlon it will provide 24 hours of wear. This drugstore cosmetic claims get more and more ridunkculous lately….being a concealer junkie I’m all about long wear but 24 straight hours? Who even needs that?

Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Spot Concealer + Treatment is a newly formulated Instant Age Rewind Eraser Concealer which contains vitamin C that helps fight dark spots over time as it covers them. Maybelline promises to visibly decrease dark spots in as little as four weeks so not only does it concealer but it treats aging spots, dark spots, acne scarring, and sunspots.
Concentrated vitamin C is a tricky little ingredient and isn’t always stable or effective at brightening/whitening. I’d probably have to try this for a year or more to see the best results so I’ll only be discussing the texture, coverage, etc…of this as a concealer but not as a treatment.
I like the idea it could be treating my problem areas though and if it works all the better. I’ll update this post should I see any results in the future on dark spots.
