Clinique Even Better Concealer launched a few months ago and being the junkie I am for all things concealer I snatched it up.
I actually ended up ordering it online because the Clinique counter had a single MA present at the time and she was proceeding to waste time on someone who didn’t actually end up buying anything at all. Dontcha just hate that? I was sitting there for about 25 minutes waiting for her, finally got impatient, and walked to the next counter over to grab something else and proceeded to watch the person she wasted time with walk away with nothing.
I just needed a concealer dude…!
I was surprised while swatching in store how pink the first four shades were. I ended up purchasing the fifth shade which is abnormal for me but it turned into a perfect match so score!
And with Nordstrom’s Free Shipping on all orders I didn’t have to wait for near half an hour to get it either.
I gotta say SPF is such a rarity in eye products. That’s why when Missha Signature Extreme Cover Concealer was introduced I was ecstatic over the SPF 30 in the mix.
Missha The Style Under Eye Brightener has been in my stash for a while now and isn’t a terribly great option for aging eyes however, younger eyes might just like this one.
I personally use it on days I need a lightweight concealer for running errands or days I won’t be out for long periods of time. At $5.99 it is a very cost friendly concealer and considerably nicer than you’d get at a US drugstore.
At some point in my makeup life I avoided powder under my eyes in a major way. It was aging me terribly and just wasn’t a good idea all around. I discovered Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder and proceeded to hate all over it. At the time I was just starting to have issues with dryness under my eyes and was really struggling with how to treat the issue. Needless to say after I started moisturizing my eyes properly I enjoyed Laura’s powder and later discovered even nicer products for settling my concealer like Skin Food’s Salmon Powder and Benefit Powderflage.
Needless to say when E.L.F. Studio High Definition Undereye Setting Powder launched I was curious. Three dollar setting powder? Mmmm…!
Revlon Age Defying with DNA Advantage Concealer eh? What does that even mean? DNA Advantage? Shrug…ok, if you says so.
Revlon Age Defying Concealer is a newly launched, anti-aging concealer that was released this Summer. I’m a concealer junkie so of course, I snatched this up when I saw it on shelves.
I’ve found numerous HG (holy grail) concealers that I love and use daily but I always secretly hope I don’t find “the one” so I can keep buying new concealers to try. I’m slightly addicted to them.
But…
I think I can finally hang my hat up because Dermablend Quick Fix Concealer might just the one concealer to rule them all. This is seriously good stuff and let me tell you a SPF 30 in the mix makes it not too shabby at all.
Perricone MD No Concealer Concealer might be a mouthful to say or perhaps a little ridiculous to say out loud yes? But there’s no joke about this SPF enriched concealer that not only protects eyes but treats them with a formula packed with good for you ingredients.
Can your concealer kick ass? My new Soap & Glory Kick Ass Concealer says it can…I can hope. Perhaps it can take out a zombie horde and live to tell the tale?
I love the original Star Trek a little too much but I have to admit most of my younger teen years were spent with every single episode of Generations. I’ve seen all the eppys at least twice and really shouldn’t admit that to the whole world….
Of course, I did and I do have the biggest crush on Wil Wheaton. The boy can do no wrong, he’s my geek god.
Everyone, including Wil himself, gave the Wesley Crusher character a ton of $h1t but I was a geeky teenager that happened to be a girl so Wesley Crusher was kinda my fantasy man growing up. Wil particularly took part in hating on the role but it was a time in his life that was understandable. And plus, it really had to be hard dealing with a fandom that simply detested his role in the series.
So I must admit, that this made me tear up a little.
Awwwww Wil Wheaton all grown up now and finally ready to embrace Wesley Crusher….I shed a tear maybe two….
Enjoy Generations fans!
For the non Trekkie fans….
I bring you Vapour Organic Beauty Illusionist Concealer!
Anyway, since I’m working on 16 hours of sleep in two days, go freaking me, that’s more sleep than I get in a five day period, I can go ahead and go a little lighter with the concealer, that’s where KATE Covering Concealer for Under Eyes comes into place.
The new Tarte The Miracle of Maracuja Collection premiered on QVC early this morning. Some of you have taken full advantage of the set and have it in your greedy hands already.
What do you think so far?
The value of $60 for eight full pieces is quite a bargain particularly if you’ve never tried Tarte before. The set is also available on an auto delivery option which seals in the $60 price tag and allows you to get two more sets (in different seasonal shades) sent to you automatically in the next few months. If you missed my post, I already have images available of the sets that will follow after your first order just click here to view them.
NYX’s original concealer in a jar wasn’t exactly the best formula in the world as I found it a tad on the drying side.
Flash forward to Spring 2012 and NYX Full Coverage Concealer Jar is back with a new and improved formula. Does the formula handle concealing woes any better than the original?
KATE is a Japanese line of cosmetics sold under the Kanebo brand name. With brands like Lavshuca under their belt I’d say that KATE proves the more edgy in the Kanebo family with a range of bolder shades of color.
They recently introduced a few new concealers and revised formulas of concealers to their catalog, well, perhaps not that recently as its been several months since I purchased some of the new items.
