Budget friendly beauty shoppers gather round. You’re going wanna take a look at this new Wet n Wild ColorIcon Limited Edition Holiday Palette.
As you know from my prior post Wet n Wild is releasing four limited edition ColorIcon Palettes for $4.99 each that include an Eye Palette and an Eyeliner. Happy Days! Cheap makeup.
The good news is they ROCK. These are wicked awesome and even snobby high end lovers will adore ’em. Trust me I’m a snob. The bad news is they are proving a tad difficult to get a handle on. I’ve been stalking the entire New York State drugstore scene and have yet to come across them in store however it is pretty early so give it time and it might just pop up at your local drugstore shortly. I’ll, of course, keep my eyes peeled and let you know which drugstores get ’em.
But for now wanna take a look at the Golden Goddess Palette?
It’s my fav!
Oh shimmer addicts!
Gather round! Let’s take a look at the limited edition Sonia Kashuk Pretty in Pink Palette. Sonia Kashuk is a breast cancer survivor and created her new limited edition eye palette to celebrate Breast Cancer Awareness. 15% of the purchase price of the Pretty in Pink Palette will be donated to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation so you’re not only getting your shimmer on here, you’ll also helping out a worthy cause with your purchase.
Let’s have a look at the palette!
Just when you though Bobbi was all about playing it safe she releases the Crystal Eye Palette. Now Bobbi Brown injects color here and there on occasion but for the most part she’s a professional and keeps to slicker shades of browns, golds, and other colors that work well in a business environment or for more elegant makeup.
I will say prior to starting Musings I was all about loud and outrageous colors of eyeshadow and well into my first years of Musings I was still about that. But I’ve gotten older and I’ve gotten very appreciative of what a single shade of good brown eyeshadow can do for my eyes. I can thank Bobbi Brown for that.
Now for the Holidays, Bobbi got a little crazy and for the first time since I was introduced to the brand she injected a little color into one of her new Holiday palettes.
The Bobbi Brown Crystal Eye Palette for the most part are as wild as Bobbi gets with shades of purple and white however she also included a popping shade of teal eyeshadow that may just surprise you. Go on now Bobbi, getting all crazy on us!
Lorac Private Affair Palette was one of the very first palettes that caught my fancy late this Summer when I saw it introduced as part of the Lorac Fall Collection 2010.
The palette is exclusive to Sephora is $38 and has six shadows, primer, and a brush which is housed in a rather slick, sexy little faux croc compact.
I think the shades called out to me most, actually one in particular, which was a gorgeous plumm-y wine. I really feel like Lorac is a bit understated and doesn’t get nearly enough love, they seriously have some killer offerings and the Private Affair Palette seemed like one such awesome offering.
Let’s have a look!
Curious minds, did anyone grab up the Stila Eye for Color Eye Shadow Palette during Stila’s Happy Hour on Friday?
It was $18 and features a color wheel design with 13 shades of Stila Eyeshadow. Happy days! It’s sadly gone from Stila now but it’ll be back in October debuting with the Stila Holiday Collection 2010.
The good news, if you didn’t grab it for yourself, is I have one that I swatched up for you and did a few looks with.
