For its few venture into the eyeshadow primer world the Balm done good with their new Put a Lid On It Primer ($18, 0.4oz). This little primer took a second to grow on me but now I’m pretty sure I love it.
Fond fans of Too Faced Shadow Insurance will love this one.

L’Oreal Magic Decrease is a new eyeshadow primer released for Spring 2013. You should be able to find this little guy tucked right into the new Color Riche Eyeshadow Quad displays.
Now I mentioned earlier when I did another post on this that L’Oreal did indeed have a primer of sorts like this in the past however, I never actually tried that base so I can’t compare Magic Decrease to it sadly.
Here are my thoughts on Magic Decrease.
Benefit Primping with the Stars ($32) is one of three new All-Star Instant Beauty Kits that the brand is launching this January at Sephora which includes essentials for lips, cheeks, and eyes.
If you’re a fond fan of Benefit you’ll appreciate having all your favs in one easy to carry around palette or if you’ve never tried some of Benefit’s cult favorite products this is a good chance to do so without committing to a full size.
Take a look!
Kat Von D High Voltage Eye Primer comes in a tube now or it will come Spring 2013. The original version came in a bottle with a sponge tip applicator and contained 0.12 oz for $15. This new version is 0.55 oz in size and features a new tube style packaging with the same great price tag.
I loved the original and the tube version is just as great!
Smashbox Photo Finish Hydrating Under Eye Primer ($29) how I love you so! Just the cure for my dry eyes.
I dunno about you but I prep my dry under eyes to the extreme so that my concealer won’t crease or look flaky and uneven. Eye creams, serums, lotions, potions whichever provides the most moisture gets slapped under these old eyes in preparation for concealer.
The latest to join my prepping line up would be the newly launched Smashbox Photo Finish Hydrating Under Eye Primer.
