A long time ago in a not so distant past Bobbi Brown released my VERY favorite collection to date, Blushed Pink. I sweated so hard on the Bobbi Brown Blushed Pink release, you’ve no idea. One of the main reasons I loved it so much was the release of four Sparkle Eye Shadows that Bobbi has yet to reintroduce or recreate in any collection.
One shade, which I’m wearing here, happens to be my HG pink eyeshadow shades, it was called Ballet.
Fast forward a few seasons and the Bobbi Brown Beach Club Collection releases and much to my delight the new Bobbi Brown Metallic Cream Eyeshadow in Pink Oyster is a super dupe for Ballet.
Ahh all is right with my makeup world again!
Ok, by now you’ve been MAC To the Beach right? What’d you haul? Share it. Curious minds! And most important of all who got their hands on MAC Marine Life, hello how hard it is to find thee?! My MAC said they only got 15 pieces in, WTH? Dude! I’m foreseeing $200 Evil-bay purchases in all our futures.
As for me I’ve been MAC To The Beach again recently and hauled a few items I missed out on during my initial test time!
Jump for it!
Man, don’t shoot me, I’m so late on my MAC Pret a Papier Review. I’m kinda sad I’m so late getting this up because it had some SUPER must haves in my opinion but no worries much of it is still available online and on counters. Phew!
What did you haul?
Pret a Papier, going by the promo images, was so incredibly snoring boring at first glance. I wasn’t even going to bother myself with the collection at all to be honest. But after seeing a few swatches I felt compelled to see what was up.
Thank GOD I did because I’d have missed out on some of better warmer shades of color that MAC has released in a long time.
Bare Study was the MAC Paint Pot that changed the game on me. I was never a big lover of the Paint Pots when they came out but Bare Study changed all of that for me. It’s a boring beige nude that is a must have in my opinion since it brightens my eye area up, gives me a natural look, or works beautifully to adhere pigment to my eye.
I’m cheatin’ on Bare Study this week with Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Cream Shadow in Shore.
You NEED this!
Dunno about you but I’m really into bright, vibrant shades for Spring/Summer but lately I’ve really tamed down my wild makeup ways so this year I’m kinda embracing natural and nude for the warmer weather. Because honestly, who wants to wear a ton of eye makeup, face makeup, gloss, etc…on a hot day. Right?
Korres agrees which is why they created the online exclusive Korres Pure Nude Collection. Think amazingly flattering, minimalistic nude shades for lips and eyes. Think you likey?
Wait till you see my before and afters!
