Givenchy Le Prisme Eyeshadow Quartet in Candide Garden was released with the Givenchy Spring Collection 2011. Loving this palette but couldn’t recreate their promo look with it, I’d never be able to pull that one off (CLICK!).
Givenchy’s shadow formula continues to evolve and you might be surprised at how nicely pigmented Candide Garden is. I’ve had a soft spot in my heart for the Le Prisme Eyeshadow Quartets but the new formula is sure to garner interest from newer Givenchy makeup users.
Let’s take a look!

Wet n Wild has a release of four new, limited edition Vanite ColorIcon Eye & Lip Quartet Palettes. Each palette has a “princess” theme with two lipglosses and two shadows.
I have to say I dislike the over use of “ColorIcon” as I commonly associate the name with the awesome six pan palettes. I will say I liked the idea of these because believe me a few years ago you couldn’t get me to touch such inexpensive makeup as I was simply too snobbish to bother however brands have evovled, Wet n Wild being one, and more recent releases are surprisely good for the price. However, they are made in China which could make or break the deal for some.
I purchased these at Harmons for $3.99 each.
Let’s have a look and see what I thought!
Thanks to Etude House I’m on this wicked orange/tangerine kick lately! I’ve been digging all the shades of orange, coral, peach, and tangerine I have in my stash and indulging in many other products in the same shades.
Korean brand, Etude House, has two new palettes released with their Miss Tangerine Collection that features some brilliant shades of tangerine.
Here’s my take on the Etude House Miss Tangerine LUCIDarling Fantastic Gradation Eyes Palette.
KATE is a Japanese branch off brand from Kanebo. KATE has always been the edgier, goth-y older sister in Kanebo’s brand line up. I’ve always loved the palettes they do but as I’ve gotten older I enjoy them even more since many of the shades selections include some nice nude, natural colors.
The new KATE Crystallise Quartz Eyeshadow Palettes are a brand new palette that launched for Spring. Honestly, if you’re a fan of the brand this is kinda a rehash of what KATE does season after season after season. New method of application but same old shades. If you never tried KATE this will prove a very exciting adventure however those who are old hat to the brand, like me, might feel it’s a bit repetitive.
