I can’t believe how deep we are into Fall already. I feel like yesterday was Summer. Seriously, last week I had my AC on because it was so warm and this week I have my heat on because it’s so much cooler in the evening.
Nothing captured Fall this year for me like The Body Shop Smoke & Mirrors Collection. The face powder alone were enough to send me into fits of joy! Honestly, The Body Shop releases some killer limited edition sets and the new Smoke & Mirrors Collection for Fall 2010 happens to be one of this collections that has some incredible offerings that you should be hauling for a warm, Fall look.
With the Holidays in our face so incredibly quickly this year, it’s nice to step back and look at a bit of Fall.
Everyone ready to unleash their evil sides? I’m sure many of you have over indulged your makeup sweet tooth on MAC Venomous Villains this week. Pre-launch parties have started as early as last week and the collection is selling out quickly online as well as some stores that have already launched it even though the official release date is tomorrow.
A few nights ago I was playing around with Maleficent’s Collection which has some interesting pieces.
Let’s have a peek.
Avon Healthy Makeup Eyeshadow are currently $4.99 each so I hauled a few out of morbid curiosity to see if I liked them. Some of the shades looked really nice in the online swatches on Avon’s site plus I’ve discovered some hidden love for cream shadows the past year or two.
If you’re on a budget you might want to check these out, they are pretty nice.
Ahhhh MAC Venomous Villains Cruella de Vil coming atcha today. Cruella’s happens to have my very favorite product release in her collection, De-vil Eyeshadow! Oh hello gorgeous.
Let’s take a look!
Lorac Private Affair Palette was one of the very first palettes that caught my fancy late this Summer when I saw it introduced as part of the Lorac Fall Collection 2010.
The palette is exclusive to Sephora is $38 and has six shadows, primer, and a brush which is housed in a rather slick, sexy little faux croc compact.
I think the shades called out to me most, actually one in particular, which was a gorgeous plumm-y wine. I really feel like Lorac is a bit understated and doesn’t get nearly enough love, they seriously have some killer offerings and the Private Affair Palette seemed like one such awesome offering.
