Etude House Aloha Glitter Sherbet Eyes Review, Swatches, Photos

Etude House Aloha Glitter Sherbet Eyes 001

Etude House has released a limited edition collection for Summer entitled Aloha. This is actually a really special release as it includes a bronzing tint.

Listen, anything having to do with bronzing is unheard of in Asia…! This is some serious shiz peeps.

No but seriously bronzing collections are a rarity in Asia so I thought the Etude House Aloha Collection was quite a little novelty plus the really cute Hawaiian inspired packaging and interesting products were worthy of a beg and a plead to a friend in Korea to grab them for me.

Today I’ll be showing you the Etude House Aloha Glitter Sherbet Eyes which are available in three sparkling shades.

Check ‘em!

Wet n Wild ColorIcon The Gilded Age Review, Swatches, Photos

Wet n Wild ColorIcon The Gilded Age 33

I gotta say I really like the six pan Wet n Wild ColorIcon Palettes considerably more than the trios. Dare I whisper that the trios are a tad TOO shimmery…

Gasp!

Blasphemy! Did I just say too much shimmer?

True that. They really are intense but at this price no one is complaining around here. Want cheap Summer bronzed lids? Snatch up the new limited edition Wet n Wild ColorIcon in the The Gilded Age for under $3 bucks and have extra change in your wallet this Summer.

Beauty on a Budget: Real Colors Regal Eyes Embellished Eyeshadow Review, Swatches, Photos

Real Colors Regal Eyes Embellished Eyeshadow 5

Being Human fans I have some crispy nuggets of info from Toby today!

P.S. So pissed at him for killing Mitchell WTF dude!

Mitchell Being Human

He’s already been quite the busy boy and episode 7 from series 4 is in the can. He shares info about alot of new faces appearing in series 4, one old face, a shocking death (OMG! No more! I’m still in mourning for my Mitchell), a new villain (le sigh can anyone possibly top Herrick?), a sort of new supernatural element/ghost, a new writer, and a journey to somewhere that the series has never gone before (oh Bristol to Cardiff was SUCH an adventure yay! Heavy sarcasm!)

Herrick Being Human

Ok, go on my son! Squeal! I’m excited. Personally I do think it’s like re-eventing the wheel without Mitchell but I’m game for new shiz!

By the way, have you watched Becoming Human? It rocks! It’s a series of 8 webisodes that features Craig Roberts, you know, that snarky little bugger of a new born Adam from last season!

Anyway, sorry, total babble fest there!

How about a little beauty budget eyeshadow to lighten the load of Being Human insanity?

Real Colors Regal Eyes Embellished Eyeshadow popped into my world recently and I gotta say, Imma like cheap as chips Sally Beauty Eyeshadow!

Tarte Amazonian Clay Waterproof Cream Shadow Pot Review, Swatches, Photos

Unbeknownst to me, Tarte Amazonian Clay Waterproof Cream Shadow Pot have been hiding on QVC for a while now. Dude, how did I not know about these?

Tarte Amazonian Clay Waterproof Cream Shadow Pot 34

I’m off my game I guess.

Recently, a few new shades were introduced for Summer and that’s how I learned about these little guys. Each one comes with it’s own brush and is $23.

The formula is made with micronized Amazonian clay which intensifies color pigments all whole working to nourish the skin and reduce surface oil. Sounded like an idea solution for oily skin if it helps reduce surface oil eh? It’s also free from parabens, mineral oil, petrolatum, and other nasties! The shadows promise to create a layer of product that basically wears well through sweat and tears without creasing for hours of wear time.

Let’s see how they perform!

Guerlain Terra Inca Ombre Fusion Cream Eyeshadow Review, Swatches, Photos

At the beginning of my makeup life and most of my older one I absolutely hated cream eyeshadows for some reason. I just couldn’t stand them. Perhaps it was my lack of patience during application of such a medium or the fact they tended to crease like crazy (circa BUDPP, “Before Urban Decay Primer Potion) but I avoided them like the plague.

I became enamored with them when I discovered the joy of Visee Quad Shining Eyes and ever after that faithful day creams have been a staple of my eyeshadow life.

For Summer 2011, Guerlain introduced three shades of Terra Inca Ombre Fusion Cream Eyeshadow in warm, gorgeous hues to compliment your tan.

Estee Lauder Shadestick Duo Gold Bronze Review, Swatches, Photos

Estee Lauder Shadestick Duo Gold Bronze 1

Estee Lauder introduced two dual sided Shadestick Duos with the Bronze Goddess Collection this year and damn, they sold out fast. I can’t find them online however I’ve seen them at two Estee Lauder counters so if you’re wanting ‘em after this review best get ‘em while the getting is good.

The sticks are great as a base, a liner, or an all over shadow. I was lucky enough to get the Gold Bronze color selection to try out because it’s thee perfect duo for warm, bronze-y eyes for Summer and yes, Summer seems to be nearing New York now. Can’t believe I’m going to say it but Yay! for humidity!

Lorac TANtalEyes Palette Review, Swatches, Photos

Lorac TANtalEyes Palette 001

Mmm at first glance the new Lorac TANtalEyes Palette had me thinking, “hello, Lorac Little Black Palette…” it was just that similar to to Lorac’s Summer 2010 palette release.

Turns out the TANtalEyes Palette offers some new, exciting options compared to the Little Black Book that might tempt those of you who love a dramatically bronzed eye look for Summer.

L’Occitane en Provence Pivoine Flora Petals Eye Quartet Review, Swatches, Photos

I danced around the house and sung I feel pretty in Julie Andrew’s haughty British accent this morning. It’s that damn L’Occitane en Provence Pivoine Flora Petals Eye Quartet…the shades just make me feel oh so pretty, witty, and gay! I was actually all of these things before the palette but the palette helped emphasize my sheer awesomeness….I’m kiddin’, I’m kiddin’ but seriously the palette is one of those soft, feminine little numbers that makes you feel pretty just staring at it.

The new Pivoine Flora Collection is an ode to the graceful beauty of the peony flower that sways gently in the breeze like a dainty little ballerina!
