The new Make Up For Ever Black Tango Palette ($45) was inspired by brand founder and creative director Dany San’z love of Tango dancing. My sophistication level when it comes to Tango dancing is limited to the Tango scene in True Lies, anything else could result in me tripping and falling on my butt.
Dany learned to Tango at age three and has been a long time fan. Recently Dany was in Argentina doing the make up for “Tango Argentina” a high profile showcase organized by the city of Buenos Aires that featured some of the country’s most famous dancers.
Upon arriving home the idea for the Black Tango Palette was born.
The palette features four shades of Make Up For Ever Aqua Cream Eyeshadows in rich shades of black accented with jewel tones such as red, green, and black.
Being the big cream shadow h0r that I am I was quite tempted to try Charlotte Ronson Starry Eyes Liquid Eyeshadow ($18). Available in four shades these recently launched liquid eyeshadows offer a shimmering wash of color to eyes.
They might just remind you of Chanel’s Ombre D’Eau Fluid Iridescent Eyeshadow, I know that’s why I was keen on giving them a try as I love the Chanel version.
As you know Bare Minerals has a new Summer/Fall 2012 Collection entitled Supernatural. I blogged about a month or so ago. I haven’t gotten a ton of information on this collection but from what I can understand it is a Summer and Fall Collection all in one.
I believe the shades are available for a limited time so if you end up liking anything I’ve featured so far from the Bare Minerals Supernatural Collection I do recommend checking them out before they disappear.
I’ll be reviewing one of the two Bare Minerals Ready Eyeshadow 4.0 Palettes I have today in the shade selection The Happy Place.
