L’Oreal Infallible Eyeshadow has landed on our shores.
Released early last year in Europe, these shadows are making the rounds in drugstores here in the states. So far I’ve caught them at Harmons, CVS, and Walgreens with prices ranging from $7.99 to $9.49.
They got pretty strong raves on UK blogs when they were originally introduced and I was quite curious to try them out for myself so it’s nice to see them locally. L’Oreal has some pretty strong releases for Spring 2012 up their sleeves and I do believe Infallible Eyeshadow will get some strong raves across the board. The formula is very nice however it has a few hiccups worthy of a mention.
Let’s take a peek!
Depending how you look at the Stila DayDream Palette it’s either really exciting or really ho-hum. I happen to fit into the realms of being kinda excited about it and kinda meh about it. Stila released a massive palette like this last year and I generally liked it but fast forward to this year and it gets a bit repetitive and easily duped.
I will say the Daydream palette, in terms of packaging, is visually pleasing. I say “visually” since it actually isn’t practical or user friendly in some cases but more on that later. The price is a very nice $18 as well so if you’re seeking to gift something a little special this is quite cute.
Let’s take a look!
I have a theory that Wet n Wild rushed along their success a little too quickly. Last year, they came out with not only an outstanding Holiday Collection but also some very key catalog items that proved incredibly good for a lower end drugstore cosmetic brand.
This year, they made some valid attempts to top themselves but so far I’m not entirely impressed with the LE offerings particularly ones they released for the Holidays.
Let’s take a look at the Wet n Wild ColorIcon Eye Kit for Holiday 2011.
People are getting Naked everywhere around the world for the Holiday Season. As for me, I say there’s no place like home for the Holidays so I’m getting Naked at home, right in front of my Christmas Tree.
Where are you getting Naked? My dog wanted to get Naked but I proceeded to take out the camera and instead he was absolutely terrified of getting Naked on film as you can see from his bugged out eyes. Oh well! Some folks were born to be Naked, others not so much…!
Submit your Naked photos to Urban Decay by Facebookin’ them and Tweetin’ ‘em and show the world where you’re getting Naked.
If you weren’t feeling the love for the Mark On The Dot Neutral Eye Color Compact because you simply aren’t a nude girl that’s quite ok, heck, I’ve been there. I went through a stage in my makeup life when all I wanted was bold, beautiful shades.
As they say, there’s a little something for everyone here and that’s why you can skip out on that palette and opt for the mark On the Dot Eye Color Compact instead and get your vibrant on!
