Sorry for the the interrupted flow of service today. You might have experienced some lag, slowness, or a 503 or two this afternoon. My server has been kinda touch and go the last few hours but I think it’s back and in working order again. See? Hotlinking kills! MUA’ers are legendary for this…grrrr!
Anyway, I apologize for the problems and hopefully I’m back up and running smoothly.
Now, last of the Clarins Holiday Collection 2010 for you today. I’ve already reviewed the highlighter and the powder which I simply adored and now for the eye and lip products.
Ahh the Bobbi Brown Sparkle Glamour Quad, one of Bobbi’s more unique and different offerings this Holiday wouldn’t you agree? If you’ve played with it already, chances are you’re thinking that it’s very different for Bobbi and you might even be scratching your head and wondering exactly what to say about the quad. The texture and formula of the eyeshadows included are far different from anything I’ve personally tried from Bobbi Brown before and are interesting, to say the least.
Let’s have a look!
Sonia Kashuk What Glitters Glows Eye Palette for Holiday 2010 should be available at your local Target, if not, give it time it should be there shortly. Yes, it is a tad bit of a rehash on Sonia’s normal releases. She does favor releasing this style palette for the Holidays and actually it’s kinda a seasonal release for her as well but I do like exploring these palettes regardless as they are inexpensive, make great gifts, and are elegant palettes for a nice price.
I picked up the Sonia Kashuk What Glitters Glows Eye Palette, let’s have a look!
I gotta admit that I thought the Bare Escentuals The Perfect Gift Collection was an ickle boring but part of it’s appeal was 1. it’s packaging and 2. its auto delivery status on QVC.
Basically Bare Escentuals packaged this up on an auto delivery which offered new seasonal colors every few months. Fabulous gift in my humblest which is why I ordered some as just that but I couldn’t go without getting one for myself because they came in a hat box. Gush! Totally slayed me. Couldn’t resist that kinda packaging. I know, I know I shouldn’t give into the packaging demons but I couldn’t resist plus hey it was a mere $36 dollars for several full size BE products. Not a bad deal all around.
But the colors…well they are a bit meh but wait until you see them in action!
Ah L’Oreal The One Sweep Eye Shadow! L’Oreal’s answer to highlighting, shading, and lining your eyes in one simple to use palette. Imagine that? This is supposed to take all the insanity out of creating that perfect eye look and proceeding to allow you expert application of not only shading your lid but also highlighting your brow bone and lining as well!
A contrasting eye shadow look in a simple to use one sweep design.
Does it work?
