Tarte Clean Slate Flawless 12-HR Brightening Primer is one of two new facial primers that the brand has introduced with their Summer 2012 Collection.
This one I’d recommend for the drier skin folks out there as it leaves out nasty silicones and has a smooth, hydrating feel and finish.

MAC Prep + Prime Moisture Infusion for Summer 2012 the perfect treat for dry skin.
With so many brands concentrating on the best ways to mattify skin as the warmer weather approaches, it’s nice to know MAC has the drier skin girls covered with a hydrating primer.
Let’s take a peek at MAC Prep + Prime Moisture Infusion!
The new MAC Prep + Prime Skin Smoother is one of thee most exciting releases to date for me. I love, I LOVE Mally’s Face Defender and this is along the same lines. My mentality was, if anyone was going to do an awesome product like this, it would have to be MAC right?
MAC Prep + Prime Skin Smoother isn’t a new idea by any means although for some folks it might be unique and new as Mally’s version isn’t well known and a ton of people don’t realize that Dior also has a similiar product.
This next generation primer is very interesting and I had high hopes for it…

I always get so many questions about ways to brighten, whiten, or lighten skin. I do so feel like Queen Know It All when it comes to the topic as I’m typically one for overindulging in Asian whitening solutions.
Not everyone wants permanent results though, some folks just want a way to ease dullness or just a little brightening up. My suggestion is ALWAYS the same for this, a lilac base. They aren’t too common here in the US but primers, cream bases, etc…all lilac based in color, are fairly popular in the Asian market. It’s a temporary solution to ease dullness and to get skin looking whiter and brighter.
Surprisingly, NP Set released a Brightening Pre-Foundation Primer that can be purchased at Target.

Ok, Urban Decay De-Slick in a Tube, absolutely essential for oily skin. Such a life saver for Summer wearin’ and tearin’ as well.
I was thinking the new NYX Shine Killer might prove a dupe but…mmm formula is different but still for mattifying none the less.
