Laura Mercier only you could make me a believer that a glowing, radiance primer is brilliant.
Typically I avoid glowy, pearly foundation, bb cream, and primer products. I have a full, round face and adding glow to it just makes me look odd.
So I did head into my Laura Mercier Radiance Foundation Primer with feet dragging and caution in the wind.
I came out of the experience pleasantly surprised.
Let me tell ya, Pan Am, is all about the visual candy because the substance of the drama is so snoring boring…..
I thought this was the break out hit for Fall…? What the hell happened? Seriously, if it wasn’t for the clothes, hair, makeup, and accessories I’d have deleted it from my Tivo three episodes ago.
Gimme zombies and haunted houses, forget 60′s glam….!
Speaking of retro Stewardess’…Attention Please, a brand I recently introduced you too, seems to be doing some pimping for Pan Am as their packaging gathers up the retro vibe of travel days gone by.
Let’s take a look at Attention Please Make Base Cream and see if it offers anything better than the Pan Am TV show does. Yawn.
If it works…
Don’t change the formula, don’t mess with it…leave it alone.
What’s that old saying? If it isn’t broken, don’t fix it.
As far as I’m concerned Mally Poreless Face Defender puts the bees in knees. So Mally took that great product one step further and created a liquid version of it….
But, me no likey.
Pixi Line Relax Serum Primer supposedly provides a formula for smoothing fine lines. Dude, I so noticed I’m starting to have marionette lines….I smile too much.
I’m going to start sitting around stone faced. No laughing, no smiling, not even a smirk.
Unless Pixi can save the day?
I said it before, I’ll say it again, the chick on the Baviphat Island Girls BB Primer Fix box so looks like Amanda from Ugly Better!
Baviphat (I wanna type Baby Phat) is a Benefit style cosmetic brand that’s available in Korea. Alot of the makeup offerings remind me of Benefit for some reason. I think part of the appeal is in fact their packaging as I love the Baviphat girls that are featured on many of the products.
Let’s take a look at their BB Primer Fix!
I wanna say that Smashbox is one of the first primers I ever really took note of on the makeup market, it’s also probably one of my first remembered primer experiences.
And it also turned me off to primers for a really long time. Personally I’m kinda sorta amazed how many people love it as I’ve only ever experience itchy joy from it after application plus it’s always had a knack for pilling…just an overall awful product in my opinion.
And I know I’m not alone here as many of you have felt the same way and all I can say is it’s about damn time that Smashbox created a hydrating primer!
