NARS Radiant Cream Compact Foundation ($38 plus $10 for the compact) is kinda my new best friend. Scratch that, it’s kinda life changing. I don’t reach for cream foundations often…granted I like BB Creams and I like cream foundations! I just don’t like compact cream foundations because they are often quite heavy and provide a little too much coverage and dare I say even though they promise a matte finish they feel quite oily and greasy. Plus they transfer all crazy-like.
Cream foundations are ever evolving and some brand or another is always trying to improve on the compact cream formula but very few succeed. When I originally heard about the NARS Radiant Cream Compact Foundation I was skeptical.
After trying it my mind is a little blown.

Lorac Cococin Cream Foundation Compact ($32) is a new oil-free cream foundation with a lightweight formula infused with Cococin that’s available in eight shades.
I actually had no idea what Cococin was but apparently it’s an ingredient derived from green coconuts that’s contains vitamins and minerals which are hydrating.
Let’s take a look at the new Lorac Cococin Cream Foundation Compact.
Laura Geller Baked Elements Foundation is a new powder foundation that recently launched in the Laura Geller Baked Innovations Set on QVC.com. I adore Laura Geller Balance-n-Brighten Foundation even though I have drier skin this works fabulously for me. So of course, I was intrigued when Laura Geller Baked Elements Foundation popped across my beauty radar.

Etude House Precious Mineral Any Cushion is currently making a round of reviews across a variety of Asian beauty bloggers. It recently launched in Korea and is a new cushion style foundation product much like we’ve seen from Amore Pacific, Holika Holika, and a variety of other brands recently.
These foundation pacts are becoming very popular in Korea so I suspect you’ll start seeing them here in the US across a wider market come Spring 2014 into Fall 2014. Of course, most of the formulas are BB Cream where as Etude House Precious Mineral Any Cushion is actually a water based mineral foundation product.
