Tarte has a brand new Today’s Special Value on QVC today that comes with Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Full Coverage Broad Spectrum SPF 15 Foundation (swatches of all the shades after the jump). Launched earlier last year this foundation has made an appearance in a QVC Today’s Special Value before so if you love it now is your time to lock into to value as it typically retails for $38 per tube and today you can get it and five other full size products for $59 at QVC.com.
I remember originally trying this and not really liking it. It was Summer at the time. I’m happy that it was re-brought to my attention with this set because the weather is cooler now, my face drier, and I can actually appreciate the moisturizing formula where as in the Summer I disliked it and felt it made my skin oily.

I wasn’t sure I’d like the new Maybelline Instant Age Rewind the Lifter Foundation since I had a rather bad run with Covergirl Olay Tone Rehab.
These foundation with built in serums and primers just don’t seem to work out for me even though I have dry skin. You’d think my skin would love a formula like this but unfortunately, they seem super heavy and greasy on me.
I tried the Maybelline Instant Age Rewind the Lifter Foundation with the idea in my head I’d dislike it but it isn’t as bad as I thought!
My review on Clarins Skin Illusion Loose Powder Foundation is a long time coming. It’s something I’ve used almost religiously for the past several months and something that really excites me since I can’t wear powder foundation products well due to my drier skin.
This is a silky, loose powder foundation with light-reflecting pigments, minerals and plant extracts that creates a radiant matte finish and a natural, bare skin effect. There’s the keywords, “bare skin effect”…! Who doesn’t want coverage that’s flawless and natural?
That’s one of the key benefits of Clarins Skin Illusion Loose Powder Foundation, the bare skin effect and the reason I LOVE it.
Wet n Wild Cover All Cream Foundation is possibly one of the nicest budget foundations I’ve come across in a long time. At $3.59 with a $1 off coupon I paid a mere $2.59 at Harmons for it.
Wha?!?! Unheard of! Decent foundation for under three bucks? How is that possible?
Benefit Primping with the Stars ($32) is one of three new All-Star Instant Beauty Kits that the brand is launching this January at Sephora which includes essentials for lips, cheeks, and eyes.
If you’re a fond fan of Benefit you’ll appreciate having all your favs in one easy to carry around palette or if you’ve never tried some of Benefit’s cult favorite products this is a good chance to do so without committing to a full size.
