Yay! I’m terribly excited about reviewing the new shades of Clinique Chubby Stick Moisturizing Lip Colour Balm for you today.
Just a warning, the shades all kinda sorta look the same on my lips sadly. I tried photos with and without flash but they just seem to all very similiar. I’m def not an expert at lippie swatches but I tried and hopefully they help a little tiny bit.
Let’s take a look!
I’m gearing up to review the new shades of Clinique Chubby Stick Moisturizing Lip Colour Balm but I just wanted to briefly address the original eight shades.
Let’s have a little look!
High tech lip balms are trending at the moment in a major way with many brands embracing the formula for their very own.
Bite Beauty Lush Lip Tints are the newest balm slash lipstick hybrid to release for Summer with a good for you formula that will make you feel a ok about biting and licking lips throughout the day.
Let’s take a peek!
Pixi joins the realms of tinted lip balm pencils with their new Tinted Brilliance.
I guess we’ll see more of these chubby pencils as the Summer progresses as they are really trending at the moment with Clinique releasing new shades of their pencil, Revlon having their new Stain Balms, and Tarte releasing a new Tangerine shade for Spring/Summer 2012.
Pixi Tinted Brilliance Balm actually had a Spring 2012 launch at Target and Target.com however I hadn’t tried them when they originally released so I was quite happy to give one a whirl recently.
Let’s have a look!
Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain has recently launched in drugstores in 12 shades for around $6.79 each (that’s what I paid at Harmons).
These are very exciting release as they are a chubby lip balm pencil that resembles Clinique’s popular Chubby Stick and Tarte’s Lip Surgence at friendly price tag.
The variety of colors, budget price tag, and lighter, balmy formula will prove an ideal pick for Summer beauty budget’ors out there but are they as great as Clinique and Tarte?
Let’s take a look and find out.
