Wet n Wild Think Pink Megalast Lipcolor is a repromoted shade that’s part of the new Walgreens More Kisses promote that donates 25 cents of each sale to the American Cancer Society!
I actually purchased this on a whim because it contributed to Breast Cancer Awareness and not so much because I love the Wet n Wild Megalast Lipcolor Lipstick formula or even because I thought Think Pink was a nice shade.
Here’s some thoughts!
MAC Gospel Lipstick ($22) is a limited edition MAC Lustre Lipstick that launched with the MAC x Brooke Shields Collection. I’m not sure this shade brings thoughts of Brooke to my mind but as a fan of the Lustre finish I was kinda all about it.
And did I mention it’s rather a stunning Fall red?
The Too Faced Under the Mistletoe Set ($28) is a new, limited edition set of La Creme Shimmering Lip Cream Lipsticks that launched with the Too Faced Holiday 2014 Collection.
I suspect this set is a launch pad for the new La Creme Shimmering Lip Cream formula as one of the shades will apparently get a re-release with the Too Faced Spring 2015 Collection so perhaps, just maybe we’ll see more of the La Creme Shimmering Lip Cream formula in the future.
However, one can hope it’ll improve when and if it does re-release.
FranknFurter, Oblivion, Sin, and Strange Journey are four of the limited edition MAC Rocky Horror Picture Show Lipstick shades launching for Halloween/Fall 2014.
When you think of the Rocky Horror Picture Show I’m sure any number of things pop into your head! The Time Warp, Frank getting it on with everyone from his self made muscle man to Brad our reluctant heterosexual hero, and even good girl virgin Janet, and let’s not forget the epic motorcycle riding Meatloaf as Eddie (he also played Dr. Everett Scott in the play!).
Needless to say another epic thing that stands out from the film is all the lipstick! I’m positive the vampy lip look originated from Doctor Frank n Furter’s own stunningly dark, red lips.
The MAC Rocky Horror Picture Show Lipstick shades celebrate all good things Rocky Horror to say the least.
Do take a look!
Etude House Belle Purple Rose Lips is one of two limited edition lipstick shades that launched with the Etude House Princess Happy Ending Collection.
You might have guessed the Etude House Belle Purple Rose Lips was inspired by Belle from Beauty in the Beast. Although I must say the purple doesn’t really have be thinking of Belle….! I always pictured Belle with more of a brownish nude shade on her lips.
What do you think?
