Thanks to my makeup sis Christine for not allowing me to give up on Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick. Revlon recently reintroduced Super Lustrous Lipstick with a shine finish for Summer 2013/Fall 2013 in a range of new shades.
This newly reformulated lipstick now has a shiny finish however, some of the shades didn’t appeal to me so I casually slipped past them more than once at the drugstore. My reader and friend Christine mentioned how incredible they were and how there was indeed a coral I’d probably love and how I should try them and well, needless to say, she was convincing.
Unfortunately the coral was sold out but I did pick up Terra Copper which also happens to be a very me shade.
Here are my thoughts!
When the makeup gods created perfect lipstick Shiseido Perfect Rouge Tender Sheer was on top of the creation list. There’s something so terribly appealing about a lipstick that glides on like melted butter and leaves behind glossy pigmented color that hydrates lips all through the wear.
Surely Shiseido Perfect Rouge Tender Sheer is divine!
I have absolutely must get my hands on more Mary Kay True Dimensions Lipstick as soon as possible. True Dimensions Lipstick is possibly the best lipstick I’ve used in a while.
I admit I cringed slightly when I noticed the $18 price tag. Seriously? I think of Mary Kay as more of an Avon type company so I was shocked at that cost. That’s closer to a mid-range brand like MAC! Gasp!
But I’m understanding why now…there are quality here!
You NEED this lipstick
Josie Maran Argan Love Your Lips Hydrating Lipstick ($22) have some mixed reviews but I must admit I really liked the one I purchased. I understand why though! They are pretty much a spot on dupe for Clarins Instant Smooth Crystal Lip Balms and having experienced those and knowing how to use them I pretty much liked Argan Love Your Lips Hydrating Lipstick just as much.
Here are my thoughts!
I recently purchased a single shade of the Etude House Color Pop Dear My Lips Talk Lipstick in 0R221. These lipsticks were launched with the Etude House Color Pop Collection in a range of ten shades and I was smart enough to only purchase the one.
You see, when Etude House does a great lipstick that really DO a great lipstick. But when they do a rubbish one, well, they REALLY do a rubbish one. Having tried many of their lipsticks from a variety of collections I’ve learned my lesson NOT to order too many at one time. Try one and proceed to haul more if they are good is my chosen method of madness.
In the case of the new Etude House Color Pop Dear My Lips Talk I’m every so happy I only hauled one as I dislike the formula.
Take a look!
